In a tower hidden from the world, a chameleon named Pascal ran outside and is hiding behind some plants and blends into the pots.

The window opens and a extremely long haired blonde haired girl wearing a pink dress and no shoes named Rapunzel is looking for the chameleon and noticed him while moving her hair behind her ear.

"Hmm...well, I guess Pascal's not hiding out here." Rapunzel says and walks back inside playfully.

Pascal laughs, believing he fooled her when hair gets wrapped around his tail and he's lifted into the air as he comes face to face with Rapunzel.

"Gotcha!" Rapunzel says as she appears above the doorway and Pascal shrieks before calming down as Rapunzel lowers him down. "That's 22 for me. How about 23 out of 45?"

Pascal looks to her annoyed.

"Okay, well, what do you want to do?" Rapunzel asks him while taking a seat on the landing.

Pascal squeals and points his tail to the outside.

"Yeah." Rapunzel says as she grabs him by the tail. "I don't think so. I like it in here, and so do you." She places him on her lap as they sit on the ledge with him on her lap.

Pascal sticks his tongue out at her, disagreeing.

"Oh, come on, Pascal. It's no so bad in there." Rapunzel says as she heads back inside with her hair dragging along.

She uses her hair to get to the top of the tower and opens the top to get some light in the dark tower.

"Seven a.m., the usual morning lineup." She starts singing while beginning to sweep. "Start on the chores and sweep 'till the floor's all clean." As she sweeps, Pascal uses a dustpan but gets swept as well. "Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up. Sweep again, and by then it's like 7:15." She sings as she does exactly as she talks about.

"And so I'll read a book. Or maybe two or three." She goes on and grabs some books off her shelves. "I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery." She sings as she now paints the walls. "I'll play guitar and knit. And cook and basically, just wonder when will my life begin?"

She then sees a empty space behind the mirror on the wall surrounded by curtains and uses that for a new spot to paint.

"Then after lunch, it's puzzles and darts and baking. Paper Mache, a bit of ballet and chess." She sings as she's dancing and gets wrapped up in her own hair and tripped over it. "Pottery and ventriloquy, candle making." And she uses Pascal as a ventriloquist dummy.

"Then I'll stretch, maybe sketch, take a climb." She sings, using her own hair to climb in the middle of the room. "Sew a dress!" Pascal was wearing a dress matching Rapunzel's as he's angry. "And I'll reread the books if I have time to spare. I'll paint the walls some more, I'm sure there's room somewhere. And then I'll brush and brush, and brush and brush my hair. Stuck in the same place I've always been." She sings and spends some time brushing all of her hair.

"And I'll keep wondering and wondering, and wondering, and wondering when will my life begin?" She wonders as she throws her hair all around herself.

She then steps out onto the balcony and looks out into the setting sun.

"Tomorrow night, the lights will appear. Just like they do on my birthday each year. What is it like out there where they glow?" She wonders and looks to the picture of the nights. "Now that I'm older, Mother might just...let me go." She finishes singing and finishes her painting of the said lights and forest along with herself watching them.
