Crystal's POV:

Oh no.

I started to panic as Samuel left the cavern. Would I be stuck here for a long time? If so, would Florian treat me any differently?

Florian must've noticed my distress, sense he wrapped his arms around me and we both hugged each other for a long time. At least a minute. "I won't hurt you," Florian whispered as he kissed me on the cheek. I felt safe and comforted with Florian. Even if our world turns into an ice age, I still have him. My dear lord and savior, Prince Florian of the Spring Dynasty.
