ILLUSIONS

Chapter 4

Tuesday - 7:30 A.M

I decided na medyo late pumasok today. Since my headache bothers me. Well 9:00 A.M naman ang start ng class ko so it's alright na ngayon pa lang ako pumasok. I'm actually on my way to school now.

8:00 A.M (same day)

When I entered our classroom, may iba sa expressions ng mukha ng classmates ko. I wonder what happened.

"Girls, ano nangyare?"

"Yesterday, Mrs. Dela Cruz committed suicide due to guilt sa pagkamatay ni Sandra. She was found dead in her house. As of now, wala pa tayong adviser."

Mrs. Dela Cruz and Sandra both committed suicide yesterday? What a first day of school.

"Dalawang member dapat ng section natin ang nalagas?" Sabi ng isang classmate ko.

Every one here is so depressed, nagbago ang joyful atmosphere ng classroom namin yesterday to this.

Nag-stay ng tahimik, sobrang tahimik ang classroom namin nang may biglang pumasok.

"So that's what happened. What a first day of school.."

"True. Haaaay. I hope this last school year natin sa high school will be the happiest kaso it's having bad start.."

"Is that really you Shara? I'm not used to Shara who loses hope. Like, ikaw ang pinaka hopeful na tao na nakilala ko. Sabi mo nga diba 'don't let your problems get into you.' e pano kami maniniwala sa advice mo if ikaw hindi mo kayang i-apply?" Frank said. He's right. This is not me. Hindi ako yung basta-bastang nagpapa-affect sa mga nangyayari.

"Hmmm.... Why not watch a movie? Wala pa naman yung teacher oh. I downloaded movies and it's here on my usb." Frank offered. Kahit hindi kami mag-respond, alam naman naming gagawin niya ang gusto niya. So he did.

Medyo nagbago yung atmosphere inside our room. Nagsalita na sila ulit at medyo nabawasan ang katahimikan. Unti-unting bumabalik sa normal ang lahat.

5:30 P.M (same day)

Kakauwi ko lang from school. Kinuwento ko sa mom ko ang mga nangyari today. She said those words again. The usual words my mom says. The usual words that calms me down.

Little did I know, nang dahil sa mga sinabi niya, para akong baby na napa-kalma at nakatulog.
