Chapter 1

"Y/n" The teacher called me which caught my attention.

I was daydreaming ever since class started so i never really had the chance to listen to the teacher.

"Yes, ma'am?" I enquired while looking at her

"Can you answer the queastion on the board and please put your solution too." She answered

I stood up from my seat and went to the front of the class where the board is located.

I looked at the problem and to my surprise it was actually easy. We already learned this since grade 7 so i won't have any problems solving it.

"What is the value of x and y on the problem x² - y² =24, xy=35?" The teacher enquired as i looked at her smirking and looked back at the board.

I reached for the marker and started writing the solution while the entire class is watching.

"x+y=12" I answered

"That is correct you may now take your seat" She said as i putted on a smile and went back to my chair.

"Tsk, stop acting like you solved the hardest math problem on earth. That was so easy." The guy beside me spoke.

"So? Atleast i answered it quicker than you could." I said feeling so confident

"Ugh, whatever. You only solved it faster by a second than me. Duhh" He said all annoyed

If you're wondering who's the guy next to me is. He's Rindou Haitani, my one and only academic rival AND also my annoying, toxic, and strict roommate. I was the smartest in class until he came and ruined it.

We always fight on whoever is going to be the valedictorian of the school every single school year.

"Whatever." I said and started to daydream again

"STOP. DAY. DREAMING.!!" He whisper-shouted at me which i paid no attention to and continued to do what i was doing.

Y/n!!" Someone shouted that woke me up from my sleep

"What..?" I asked still sleepy and is rubbing my eyes

"Wake up!! It's already time to go back to our dorm!!" Rindou shouted at me

"Fine,fine. No need to shout geez" I said and stood up to clean my things but stopped when i noticed them gone

"Where-" I was cutted off when Rindou suddenly spoke

"I already putted them inside your bag so hurry up. You don't have your car today, right?" He said which made me blush a bit

"Y-yeah...Thank you" I thanked him and looked away

"I do not accept thank you's from someone dumber than me." He teased which made me furious

"I- Just accept it!! And i'm not dumber than you!! Hmph" I shouted at him while pouting

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go" He ordered and pulled my wrist

"Stop pulling!! It hurts!!" I whined as he let go of my hand and putted his hands on his pockets

"Tsk."

"Stop tsk-ing. Is that how you pronounce it?" I asked him which caused him to chuckle a bit

"I don't know ask yourself." He coldly said while i jumped on his back

"Fine!! I'm gonna ask myself if you carry me all the way to the parking lot!! HEHE" I bratted

"Ugh, you're such a kid" He groaned but still carried me

"Oh!! Isn't that your car!!" I shouted and pointed outside of the school where his car is being stealed

"Oh- You're right- HEY!! COME BACK HERE!! THAT'S MY CAR!!" Rindou furiously shouted and ran towards his car while carrying me on his back still.

"Hurry!! He's gonna get away!!" I complained while he just gripped on my thighs tighter and ran faster

"I'm almost at my limit!!" He complained and started to slow down

"

Hmph, you're useless!! Put me down!! I'm gonna chase that bastard to death!!" I said while kicking on his back.

Rindou putted me down on his back and i started running, following the car.

I saw it turning and a plan suddenly hitted my head.

I turned to a tunnel and ran for a minute 'til i reached the other side of it.

I stopped and waited for what i was chaising after.

A minute passed again and i saw the car driving towards me. I got on theway as the car stopped on its tracks.

I took that opportunity and ran for the car door. Luckily he left it opened.

I opened the door and saw a masked man sitting on the drivers seat. I saw him trying to take out something from his pocket so before he could, i dragged him out and broke his arm.

Pinnig him on the ground, Rindou came and punched the guy's face

"You're late." I said while breathing heavily

"Sorry" He said and helped me up

"My feet hurts" I whined at him as he carried me in a bridal style and made me sit at the passenger's seat.

He closed the door and went to his seat and drove off.

We reached our dorm as i throwed my body at my bed and slept. Good thing it's saturday tomorrow.

6:37 am

I woke up from a noise coming from the kitchen so i decided to check what it is.

I walked towards where the kitchen is located and peaked throigh the counter.

There, i saw Rindou trying to cook something but i guess he putted too much oil which made it burn the ceiling.

"Pfft-" I laughed as i saw Rindou staring at me. Shocked

"What're you doing?" I enquired while laughing

"Stop laughing! I accidentaly putted too much oil on the pan so..." He explained

"I can see that" I said smiling at the pan

"Hmph"

"Btw what're you making?" I asked him as i saw his face change to an....annoyed look?

"My brother is coming over" He annoyingly said which made me surprised

"Really?!! Omg i'm sooo exited to see your brother" I happily said and looked at him with sparkles in my eyes.

"Shut up."

"Toxic" I said and he just rolled his eyes

And if you saw any mispelled words it might be due to typo's or me forgetting how they spell.

I don't even know how i could forget the most basic words on history😭
