They hadn't seen this coming.
Last night, after they had all left the shrine and mostly all going there own separate ways to take a breather, and save there next move which is today — Tara and Sam including Mindy who had dragged Ethan with them to keep a good watchful eye on him just for safety precautions, and making sure he isn't the one actual responsible for all this. All (mostly) weren't even expecting Ghostface to attack so suddenly, and specifically targeting their friend, Serena Campbell.
Though, they should've seen this coming. She's the daughter of a deceased serial killer, she's a damn legacy. And, whoever this fuckface is not only does he want to take Sam Carpenter down, but also Serena Campbell down with her. A punishment.
Everyone was sitting in the hospital chairs since the middle of the night, and now it being morning. They, had all received a distress call from Chad last night who was already on the ambulance car with her, panicking and crying on the call. It what had brought them all here, worried for their friend who was stabbed.
Despite not having entered her hospital room yet, considering that she was asleep after being interrogated by Kirby a couple hours ago who wanted to know what occurred, and Chad who also wanted her to rest after the attack and the interrogation that made her relive what had occurred, he was so far the only one in there with her.
Heels were clicking onto the ground had brought the attention of the friends who were in the waiting room, "How is she?" Gale had questioned Sam who was an anxiously biting on her fingernail.
Gale who had happen to take a seat on the empty chair that was just directly next to Sam.
Sam had removed her her finger from her mouth, "She's doing just fine, he didn't cut her that deep. . . we still haven't had a chance to actually see her yet, or actually know what occurred when he had attacked her last night. She's still sleeping." She was really worried for her friend, and dropping her hand onto her lap.
It was then that Ethan had spoken up after being silent since last night, "Well — that's a good thing, right? She survived the attack from him. . ." Eyes simply glancing around at them in hope of several agreements with his own encouraging statement, yet all he had received was a death glare from Mindy.
Of course, he had known that she would survive the attack from his dad and sister last night. She was very much needed for the grand finale that was coming soon. Two daughters of previous serial killers, was just what they had ultimately needed to blame these horrific crimes on, especially their little revenge towards Sam Carpenter, 'cause daughters of past serial killers don't even deserve a fucking happy ending.
