Yeah...long time no see! I miss writing a lot, but it can be a hassle. I write frequently, however, on my tumble blog fantastvic. So, follow away. In the meantime, enjoy this short (as per usual) piece. Oh and today was my last day of school. Welp, I'm officially a freshman...
"Have you ever wondered what it'd be like if you had a twin?" I asked my older sister as I twirled a charm necklace shed given to me, around my neck.
"Yeah," she gushed. "I want one so badly. But I'm content with you and Kate." She winked and referred to my other sister, Caitlin.
"I love yall, too, but a twin would be so rad." I sighed.
"It so would be."
"Sara!" Leigh yelled at my face, startling me.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"Y/N? Oh, sorry. I thought you were Sara." Sara was my twin. W were as identical as it got, practically.
"I think she's in her room." I smiled gently as Leigh nodded and went off in search of my sister.
"Mom, where's the chips?" I walked into the kitchen, seeing my mother's figure pressed near the stove.
"It's me, Y/N," a voice said.
I, confused, just started at the figure that was unmoving. "yeah? Mom?"
"No," the figure turned. "Me, Aunt Shirley."
"Oh!" I face-palmed, feeling stupid. "I always mix you guys up! Identical twins are so...identical." I giggled.
I smiled wide for the picture, and heard it snap as the photographer shooed me in a different pose. "Okay, this time Catherine were-"
"It's Y/N." I said, used to the mistaken identity I had usually as my twin Catherine.
"Oh," the photographer looked like they were contemplating life as they knew it. "okay."
