A part of her had died last night, it was like she was physically here with everyone, but not necessarily.

Witnessing her friends death will forever remain engraved in her head, she just couldn't understand why this happened. . . College, was supposed to be fun for the both of them in New York, it wasn't supposed to turn out like this. It wasn't.

Anika Kayoko's life ended last night, it was cut shortly by a serial killer in just some stupid mask. He killed her in the most gruesomeness way ever, tipping her over the ladder where she had fell down to her death.

She had been sitting in one of the paramedics vehicles, simply glancing at her bandaged up hand. She had titled her head upwards, turning her head to glance at the alleyway where she had just seen several police officers, zipping up the black bag that held her friends dead body.

A sob just escaped her lips, glancing away from the scene that she just couldn't even bare to witness anymore. She noticed that someone was approaching her.

"I'm so sorry, Serena. . ." Chad whispered to her, eyes giving her a saddened look, "Do you need anything? I can go, and bring you some clean clothes, or—" He had slowly rambled, only to be interrupted by her, her voice that just sounded raspy, and slightly squeaky.

"Please, just leave me alone." She glanced at him, eyes bloodshot red from her none stop crying, "Please?" Practically begging him for a moment of aloneness.

It's not that she didn't want his company 'cause his company was really comforting, but she was just in such a state of shock, that she just needed to process this on her own.

Chad who simply nodded his head gently, "Okay, but I'll be over here. . . if you need me." He had softly whispered to her, and just simply turning himself around to go back to where his sister was sitting at, all three who were across from Serena.

"What'd she say?" Tara had just questioned Chad, worriedly. All three could just see Serena who was sitting over there, and just letting out silent cries.

"She just wants to be left alone." He had bluntly answered, his eyes hadn't left Serena. He was really worried for her, God it must've been really hard to witness her best friends death last night.

Though, he was willingly to give her the space that she was asking for, he wasn't going to be pestering her into letting him in, especially after what she had witnessed. He, can wait for her until she's ready.
