.....

I licked my lips as I thought about my favorite food. I pictured myself sitting in a pizza parlor, eating different pizzas:pepperoni, sausage, cheese and chicken.

"Yum."

"Thinking about sex?" Olive asked.

My eyes shot open. "That's what you do Olive, not me."

She chuckled, "You know me so much, don't you?"

I nodded.

"Remember when we were ten and you suddenly started ignoring me?"

I shrugged. "Yeah, so?"

"That's not what good friends do."

"Oh, come on. You had lice in your head!"

"Lice shouldn't come between best-friends."

"You asked me to scratch your head. That's...disgusting." I winced at the memory.

"Yes, because my nails were small and I couldn't scratch my head, that's why I asked you to help me out!"

I stuck my tongue out.

"Today, we'll be playing knee defenders. In this game, you'll try to tag the knees of your opponent to score a point, and they of course can tag yours for a point too!" Jesse said aloud.

Christine explained us all the rules clearly.

Frankly, I no longer found the fitness camp torturous. Every day, we tried new activities and that had engaged my interest. Things started looking up. Some workouts were grueling, but I was trying my best.

We made two teams and stood in two long parallel lines. Facing each other, we placed our hands on our knees. We were allowed to score a point only when the opponent had taken his hands off his knees.

"I've set the timer for ninety seconds...And go!" John shouted.

Weirdly, we began to hop around each other. My heart was beating faster than usual and my hands became slippery. Everyone was trying to tag their opponent, jumping awkwardly and I could no longer remain in that position as my lower back began to hurt. I made a plan to stand straight for two seconds before anyone saw me.

Placing my hands on my lower back, I stretched backward. God, it hurt badly.

Out of nowhere, someone came and tagged my knees and both of us fell harshly on the ground. I landed on my elbows and my head hit the ground. On top of me was a slim blonde girl, rubbing her head.

Even if my body hurt like hell, I didn't know why I began laughing hysterically. It was so funny to see people hop around that I couldn't control myself.

Immediately, she got off me. She offered me her hand and I took it.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry," she asked, looking at my elbow.

"Yeah, I'm f-fine."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded.

After a while, we were given a ten minutes break.

Olive and I were standing under a tree, drinking water. I splashed some cold water on my face to remove the dirt.

I was getting hungry now, however, I had nothing to worry about because I had brought two chocolate bars with me.

Quietly, I put my hand in my pants pocket and let Olive sneak a glance of my Mars chocolate bars.

Her mouth formed an O.
