Chapter three,

mother lies, she knows

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

Serena who was currently occupying the Carpenter sisters bathroom, so she can remove her halloween costume. Undoing the two braids she had on her hair (she wasn't about to make more braids, 'cause it would've taken her a long time to remove them, and she would've been lazy to undo the braids), grabbing herself a makeup wipe to remove the vague makeup she had applied on.

Already slowly removing her short denim skirt, and putting on her grey sweatpants, she had also quickly removed the corset top she had on, and throwing it onto the ground. . . she had decided onto not wearing a bra, and just throwing on dark shirt.

   Flinching when her phone rang.

Her eyes had slowly glanced to see who was bugging her this late, and of course it just had to say unknown caller ID.

Sighing, she had clicked answer and quickly placing the phone into her ear and placing one of her hands onto her own hip, "Uhm, hello? Who is this?" She slowly asked the person on the other line.

Silence was heard on the other line until some gruff almost robotic voice was heard, a voice she heard a couple hours ago, "Have you felt the urges already, Serena?" Her face had paled at this, 'cause it was the same question she had heard earlier tonight, and now this stranger doesn't only know her name, but also has her number.

Shakily answering, but ignoring his really odd question, "How'd you get my number?" She had slowly whispered on the phone to him, and not wanting to sound really loud even though she was panicking on the inside.

He simply chuckled, "I have my ways, Serena. . ." He had clicked his tongue onto his teeth before he spoke, again, "How long until you get accused of committing murder? Or, even so getting gutted like a fish, Serena?" He chuckled hysterically.

Hanging up out of instinct, heavy breathing.

Serena had already felt herself beginning to panic on the inside, especially because the bathroom was so small, and she was really claustrophobic. . . the creepy phone call just made it extremely worst, and she had felt like she was getting swallow whole, her hands intertwining onto her own hair in sudden frustration, she had felt herself ready to burst into sobs.

Though, a gentle knock was heard on the other side of the bathroom, it was just Chad.

"Serena, you good?" He had worriedly asked her, she had found it strange that he sounded worried for her, "You've been in the bathroom for awhile now." He slowly retorted.
