Jungkook fell to his side resting his head on his shoulder and Jimin was sitting there glowing, wishing for nothing more than to hold his crush's hand, but he wasn't sure if he should, so he was sitting completely still. The city was flashing by and Jimin knew he wasn't ready to go back to his ordinary life yet.
They stayed completely quiet for the whole ride until his neighborhood appeared and his heart began to ache.
"Ah!" A sigh left his lips but Jungkook ignored.
The driver was slowing down.
"Jimin is this your house?" Asked the bodyguard.
"Yes," he pressed out rubbing his sweaty hands against the sweatpants.
There was his block of flats approaching and soon the car stopped in front of it.
"So, I'll get going," he said awkwardly.
"Don't be late for practice tomorrow," Jungkook moved from him raising his brow.
"Sure," Jimin gulped reaching for the door handle.
"Have good dreams," Jungkook moved closer to suddenly take his earlobe between his lips and suck on it gently.
The blushes storming to Jimin's cheeks were crazy especially as the driver and guard were watching.
"Night!" he muttered grabbing his training bag then jumping out of the car immediately.
His legs wobbly and he was stumbling towards the house too afraid to turn around. The car was still standing there as he couldn't hear the engine, but he ignored finding his key to open the front door and enter the hall. He hoped parents won't be too mad for him coming home in the morning, drunk, hopefully without hickeys.
The elevator was squeaking when it was pulling him up towards that small flat his family shared. Have Jungkook just kissed me? What now? He was still trying to adjust to that weird feeling in his body, that strange soft taste in his lips.
If he's my soulmate, shouldn't my memory open up during our first kiss, he wondered pushing the door extremely carefully.
"Jimin! Where have you been?" Mum was wearing a bathrobe over her pajamas coming into the hall from the living room.
"My rehearsal with Jungkook got longer," he said avoiding to look at her. "Night," he muttered fleeing to his room to close the door and lock it.
His heart one pounding mess, the first daylight spreading over the neighborhood when he changed into his pajamas lying down trying to get his own taste back, but his lips were all Jungkook.
"I stare into your eyes And fall on your lips The past rewinds And it has been me The one who has broken you way too many times," he hummed pressing the song on his phone quietly. Jungkook's voice like honey, the lyrics apparently his manager has written touching his soul so deeply.
What if Jungkook was lying, what if it has been a real confession to his soulmate.
"What if I don't have a soulmate?" Jungkook's words sounded in his head and Jimin was laying there analyzing the scraps of memories of his past lives he has had, the lyrics of the song, the fierce kisses in the karaoke cabin, the cursed card of the Guardian of Heaven who looked exactly like his crush, Jungkook's burning lips on his...
"I will go crazy," Jimin sighed turning in bed pressing the song on reply to hum to it.
This life I'll make it right My soulmate This life I'll do my best This life I'll not play safe Chase the stars Give my life To be Your soulmate..."
The closer the Hype building he was approaching, the more Jimin's heart was falling from worry, as last night's happenings were still so fresh and he hasn't come into terms with what has happened yet. Was it all a dream or has Jungkook really kissed him in that karaoke cabin? He wasn't even hangover as the emotions had made all drinks he had consumed evaporate. How will he stand the rehearsal if all he could feel were Jungkook's hands and lips on him. Unfortunately he was now crossing the front door to show his entry pass to the security. The workers were hurrying in all directions so he slipped between the crowd towards the elevator where he pressed the practice room floor. Jimin's heart one pounding mess and he was now barely able to breath, his legs like out of wool when he entered the hall then dance room 3 to see everyone already there. Jungkook was sitting next to the mirror, his face completely hidden underneath the bucket hat, so Jimin's heart double jumped.
"Hi Jimin, have you slept well?" Asked the choreographer cheerfully when it became dark in front of his eyes for a few seconds.
"Um..." he pressed out approaching the mirror to place his bag next to it.
"Let's start the rehearsal," Jungkook sounded impatient getting up and Jimin moved towards him shyly.
"Hi," he muttered, but Jungkook completely ignored as if he even wasn't there, so his blood boiled.
"Jungkook!" He said raising his voice.
"What?" Jungkook turned towards him asking not so nicely.
"What... what about last night?" Jimin's voice cracked.
"What last night?" Jungkook laughed. "Have we kissed?"
It was as if someone has hit Jimin with a dagger, all air left his lungs and he was standing there unable to grasp what he had just heard.
He only turned grabbing his bag then storming to the door.
"Jimin!" The choreographer and assistant dancers were shouting behind him but he never turned back, his vision blurring out in tears.
