Chenle ran down the stairs of his two bedroom apartment, to the front door excitedly to greet his secret boyfriend. He had told him to come over because he had a surprise for him. Just him. It was something that he has always wanted to do, but he wanted to show his boyfriend before he did anyone else. His opinion mattered the most to him. It always did. 

“Jisung!” Chenle smiled brightly as he opened the door, but it soon fell when he saw the younger’s face of ‘I’m sorry’ and then saw the others behind him. “Oh, hi guys.”

“Wow so you only care about Jisung?” a male with tanned skin and long legs scoffed, walking through the half opened door past Chenle. “Very telling, someone might think you have a crush on him.”

“Haha very funny Donghyuck,” Chenle sent a glare to him before hesitantly moving to the side and letting the rest in as well. “Maybe I only said Jisung because he was the only one I was expecting?”

“Also very telling,” Donghyuck continued to tease as the others made themselves at home, throwing themselves on the couch and looking for a movie to watch. “You only invited Jisung.”

“I wanted to hang out with the one person my age without you hags,” don’t get Chenle wrong, he wasn’t being mean, it was a joke that had been going around since the moment they met. Still, Donghyuck put his hand on his chest in offense, the others also looking at him like they had been attacked.

“We don’t like hanging out with CHILDREN either,” Donghyuck snaps back, the others, not including Jisung, laughing.

“THEN LEAVE,” he was fuming. Not because he doesn’t like his friends, no he loves them dearly; each and every one of them. He just wants time alone with the love of his life but no. “I didn’t ask you guys to come. You invited yourselves.”

“Chenleee,” one of his friends sitting on the couch whines, his arms wrapped in a hug around another boy as if he will be taken from him. “Please, let’s just watch one movie together and then we will leave.”

“Fine,” Chenle rolls his eyes as the rest smile at him. “Jaemin, this is the only time. All of you, stop inviting yourselves over. It's rude. I will go grab some snacks from the kitchen.” 

Jisung follows his boyfriend like a lost puppy, trying to talk to him quietly as the kitchen is across from the living room and very open. He too wanted to spend alone time with the older. 

“I’m sorry Lele,” he begins gathering some snacks that Chenle takes out of the cabinet, his voice sad. “You said you had something to show me and I got excited, but Mark was close by and asked what I was so happy about. I told him I was having a movie night with you and he told Donghyuck. Once it got to Donghyuck, everyone practically knew. I didn’t ask them to come, I promise.”
