Hello new readers. Welcome to "Dear Joe." no it will not be anything like "Dear John" the movie. This story will take you on an adventure in Maxine's life. It may jump around places, but that's just how I write. I intend to finish this story all the way through. So don't worry I'm not going to end it in the middle. Maxine at the start of the book is 17 turning 18 very soon. There are some mysteries in her life that you will find out if you stick around to read it. Maxine is the girl in the picture, but not present day. The picture is a flashback to a very important memory of hers that she carries with her all the time. Again, you will find out once you start reading. Her flashbacks go as far back to when she was thirteen, but not too often. She is very unique and different for her age. She's not your typical damsel in distress, she learns to be independent as the story goes on. You will meet some assholes and some decent people while reading through her life. The POV switches back and forth between characters, but not all the time. This isn't your typical romance story. I have posted this on this website called Movellas, and I wanted more people to read it so I also posted it here. I'm pretty proud of my story and hope you guys like it.
