Night had begun to approach Kingston, and there was a cold breeze that brushed across the city. It was so cold that it seemed like it was about to rain. Yet, something was keeping the drops of water from falling from the clouds.

Ariella, Trevor, Snyder, and Sebastian had all made it to the hideout the Agents had provided them, which was located in the basement of a rental apartment and Trevor and Snyder had both fallen fast asleep.

Ariella and Sebastian stood outside the rental apartment, chatting and gazing at the stars that filled the night sky.

"It's still a surprise, you know?" Sebastian said.

"What?" Ariella asked him.

"The fact that Trevor suddenly forgot everything. It's as if he was brainwashed." He chuckled slightly "And recently, he claims to have seen Reborn, who seems to be a villain."

"Yeah, I don't get it either." Ariella sighed "He said he could only see what Reborn was seeing. Really cryptic. And now that bustard is approaching here. What bugs me the most is why Reborn is showing interest in Trevor all of a sudden."

"What makes things worse is that Reborn's really powerful. According to the report from the 5 Senseis of the five Lyrax Terminating schools, Reborn possesses a double Akhara."

"Well, only my uncle, Justin saw that." Ariella said "The possibility that he might have misconceived it is also another issue altogether."

"Yeah." Sebastian agreed.

"So . . . what's your deal? Why become an Agent all of a sudden?" Ariella suddenly asked, breaking the silence that'd lasted for minutes.

"Why d'you wanna know?"

"I'm just curious." Ariella smirked "Never seen an Agent as young as you are."

"Well, I'm originally Turkish." Sebastian started.

"Well, I could tell you're not Japanese." Ariella noticed.

"But my adopted family is." Sebastian told her "Back at Turkey, I was homeless - we . . . were homeless."

"We?"

"I'd an elder sister. She was Helena. She was . . ." He sighed "She was the best. She was so selfless. We were both struggling to live. Every day was torture for us. We had to suffer every day to survive. Yet still, my sister took care of me till her end."

"Her end?"

"She died. It all happened so quickly. There was a Lyrax attack, and Terminators arrived to kill it. But the fight was too intense, and there was an earthquake that sent buildings collapsing to the ground. A huge boulder almost killed me, but she saved me and sacrificed herself."

"Sorry." Ariella muttered.

"No, it's cool. It happened when I was 4, anyway. Plus, after I'd been sent to an orphanage for some years, I got adopted by my current mother."

"So . . . the Agent part?"

"Well, I figured that the cause of my sister's death was the Lyrax that attacked. I realised that hundreds of lives are taken every day, just because of these creatures. I wanted to help the world overcome them. But I wasn't a Terminator, so there was no way I could kill Lyraxes. That's when it hit me - some humans were capable of killing some Lyrax. The Agents of Lyrax Excorsism. Even though the Lyraxes we could kill were few, I wanted to help in the least way I could."

"You did?"

"Yeah. So, I joined and underwent their tests. I guess I was born with a lot of strength, speed, and stamina. I passed with flying colours and enrolled as an F rated Agent. But my success rate was very great. I was able to complete every F rated mission, and when the superiors noticed how good I was, they promoted me to a D rate in a week's time. This has been my first D rated mission."

"Oh. I get it."

"So those two; Snyder and Trevor. How are you related to them?" Sebastian asked her.

"Why would you want to know?" Ariella smirked.

"Just curious."

"Well, they are my brothers. Cousins, to be precise. We may not show it much, but I know we all love each other so much. I'm older than them, so I see it as my duty to take care of them."

"You are?"

"I'm 15, Snyder is 14, and Trevor is 13. So yeah." Ariella told him "I cherish them so much! I'll protect them if I've to give my life to do it."

"You sound like my sister." Sebastian looked at her with a warm smile.

"I do?" Ariella smirked mischievously "Well, I hope I can live up to those words like she did."

"I think you should get to sleep." Sebastian told her.

"Yeah." Ariella yawned and walked briskly into the apartment "See ya."

"Zu!" Sebastian screamed and placed his palm on his stomach right after Ariella was gone.

"What?" Zuzanna's mocking voice came out from nowhere.

"This is not what I call lay low, you know!" Sebastian scolded as his stomach began to glow purple "If you're in my stomach, be quiet. Why d'you keep kicking me?"

"Because I felt your heart race." Zuzanna giggled "She is a nice girl. A white Korean with long, black hair. I think I saw red hair along the sides, too. Weird, right?"

"Ew, Zu! Don't be ridiculous!" Sebastian screamed at her "I don't have any feelings for her."

"I'm just saying. She is beautiful." Zuzanna countered "Just alert me whenever you two start dating or something. I might give you some tips."

"Go back to sleep, Zu! She could've sensed you!" Sebastian told her.

"Okay, okay. Jeez! Going back . . . to sleep."

Sebastian sighed after Zuzanna was gone and walked back into the apartment.
