"Hear me out for a second will you? I have a great idea." Willow smiles.
"I'm listening..." Gus smiles.
Your arm gets dragged away from all the people, and you jolt up.
"Huh?!" You exclaim.
"Wait-"
There's a stand in for you, like... an illusion? to where you were previously sitting next to Viney.
"Who-" You turn your head.
"Hey!" Willow says.
"Gus put an invisibility charm on you shh!" Willow giggles, dragging you away from the crowd.
You stay quiet until Gus and Willow lead you away. You run through the halls with them until you finally get somewhere secluded. Gus removes the invisibility charm on you.
"Thanks Gus!" Willow smiles.
"Y/N, this is Gus, my best friend." Willow grins.
"Hi!" Gus says.
"Oh, hey." You say.
"We wanted to help you get out of that mess, its got to be annoying." Willow says.
"So I put a stand in clone for you!" Gus grins.
"Oh my gosh, you guys really didn't have to." You laugh.
"We didn't have to, but we did!" Gus smiles.
"What's their deal anyway?" Gus asks.
"Stupid stuff regarding Grom, you weren't at Grom?" You ask.
"No, I didn't really feel like going." Gus shrugs.
"Wanna hang out with us at lunch?" Willow says.
"I'd like that." You say.
"One one condition though, we have... sort of a mysterious kind of friend. We hope you don't mind if she's with us." Willow says.
"No, that doesn't bother me." You say.
"Oh great! Luz you can come out!" Willow says.
"Sweet!" Luz pops out from behind the corner.
"Who's thi- WOAH!" You yelp.
The first thing you notice is her ears. They aren't pointed, they're round. You scoot up closer to her.
"Wait, is she human?" You ask, looking at her more curiously.
"You can ask her yourself you know, she's not an animal." Willow laughs.
"Sorry, I- wow." You say.
"Yeah I'm as human as I'll ever be!" Luz grins.
"Bump let you attend the school?" You ask.
"Yeah!" She says.
"Wait, sorry I have so much questions. Can I interrogate you?" You laugh.
Luz laughs too.
"No yeah! Of course you can!" Luz laughs.
"I don't blame you, if a witch were in my realm I would wanna ask so much questions too." Luz smiles.
"Wait, so... shoot I don't even know what to ask." You giggle.
"hehe!" Luz laughs.
"What's some of our differences?" You ask.
"Uh.. from what I can tell, It seems I cant do magic, my ears are different, that seems to be it." Luz shrugs.
"Your bile sack doesn't work?" You ask.
"Well, more like I don't have one." Luz laughs.
"You don't have one?" You ask.
"Yeah, it's how humans are." Luz shrugs.
"I have a magic disability, My bile sack is blocked, so it doesn't work." You say.
"Oh wow..." Luz says.
"So how do you get around?" She asks.
"With this." You show her your glove.
"Does it do magic for you?" Luz asks.
You nod.
"Woah! Can I try!?" She asks.
"Sure, here." You say giving her the glove.
"Usually I cant let others use it because it would just make their magic too powerful, but since you have none it shouldn't be that bad." You say helping adjust it to her hand.
"Okay, try like... maybe a ball of light." You say.
Luz draws a circle with her finger. Nothing happens.
"Huh?" Luz asks.
"Oh its because you need to picture it focus on it, it doesn't exactly just happen." You say.
"Come on, focus on it." You egg her on.
She tries again. Drawing a circle in the air. Instead of it being nothing, it turns out to be a tiny spark.
"Hey you kind of did it!" You said.
"dang.." Luz frowns, handing you the glove back.
"its okay, it takes practice." You say.
"How did you get one of those? Do you think I can have one?" She asks.
"Well, I mean if my condition were more common maybe there would be more. My condition is really rare, so Belos made this just for me." You say.
"Dang, so you're like a one of a kind?" She asks.
"Yeah." You nod.
"I'm sorry about that." Luz says.
"No its okay." You smile.
"Honestly, its cool to meet someone kind of similar to me, even if we're different species, we're still similar." You grin.
"It is cool isnt it? I think we're gonna be good friends." Luz smiles.
After school you make your way back to the castle. As your about to open the door Hunter walks up from behind you and opens it for you.
"Oh hey." You say.
"Hey." He says.
"How was your mission?" You ask.
"Interesting, how was school?" He asks.
"Interesting as well." You say.
"How so?" He asks.
"A human, we have a human at our school." You say.
"What?!" He exclaims.
"That's literally what my mission was. To study this human." He says.
"What's her name?" He asks.
"Luz." You say.
"Oh my Titan." Hunter says.
