Amelia's Pov

Amelia soon woke up as the sun shined on her eyes, small groans leaving her lips as she slowly sat up. Her body stretching as she ruffled her hair, soon leaving her bed as she went to her bathroom to take a short shower to start this lonely and boring day in her house.

She hummed as she got dressed into her clothes, soon going to her dresser as she sat down starting to dry and brush her hair, she felt a quiet sigh leave her lips as she stared out her window "I can't do this. I need to leave" Amelia stood up as she looked out her door, making sure her parents weren't near or could hear her. She then closed and locked her room as she grabbed her bag, she soon started to fill her bag up with clothes and things she'll need. She took a deep breath as she made sure she had everything, she then left her room as she quietly went to the back door, taking a deep breath as she looked back "can I do this?" She was about to go back to her room but stopped when she heard a small cough.

"And where do you think you're going Miss Amelia" Amelia widened her eyes as she looked at the man behind her

"I'm just going out, Oliver" she gulped as she looked at the older male. Oliver was her families right hand man. He was their butler, their friend, and more. He was there when they adopted Amelia and helped raised her. He looked down at her as he crossed his arms. He knew better than anyone where she was going to do, but he also knew better than anyone why she wanted to do this.

"Well, Ms. Amelia. Don't forget to bring your cards so you can have money for food and other things and please be careful" Oliver went to her as he patted her head "if your parents ask, I'll tell them. I don't know where you went"

Amelia smiled happily as she went to Oliver and hugged him "thank you Oliver so much. But I'll keep in touch with you so you don't have to worry. But I just want to go and see outside. I'm tired of being here alone and doing nothing. I want to go make friends and so on"

Oliver smiled as he hugged the small girl back "I know Ms. Amelia, a lot of kids in your situation will do the same thing. But you should get going. Your parents will be home soon and cover up, so no one sees you"

Amelia smiled as she gave Oliver one more hug before she left her house, sneaking out of the back gate as she looked back one more time before she turned around and started to walk into a world she didn't know about. A world she wanted to see. But even if there was danger, she could handle it. Even though she was locked up in her house, Oliver made sure her life was kinda fun.

As she walked through the woods, she hummed as she remembered her childhood. She remembered how Oliver taught her things her parents never did. He taught her things she never knew. He was the reason, her life home was so fun and she wasn't fully bored and lonely. Oliver was like her uncle. She remembered the first time she begged Oliver to teach her things

Flashback Starting....

She remembers waking up in the middle of the night to a beautiful melody. She went down stairs to see Oliver playing the piano, her smile bright as she felt her body fill with happiness. Oliver soon finished as she smiled going to him "that was amazing Oliver"

Oliver jumped a little hearing the child's voice, he then looked at her as he smiled "Thank you Ms. Amelia. My mom used to play me that song everytime I was sad." He looked at the child as she sat next to him "do you want me to teach you?" He saw the child's face brighten as he took that as a yes. He taught the child how to play the piano for hours as he smiled, he soon saw the time as he laughed "Ms. Amelia I believe it's time to go to bed, it's been hours and you still need to sleep"

Amelia frowned as she shook her head "nooooo, I want you to keep teaching me things. Please Oliver. Pleaseeee" she placed her hands together as she gave him puppy eyes
