"Hi Audrey" A lot of students were smiling at her that morning Audrey was confused
"You are so popular!" Poppy said before sitting at the Gryffindor table, this was something normal on her "Anyways" she said while bringing a piece of toast to her mouth "I was thinking for charm class I want to be your buddy!"
The red-haired girl smiled "why are you thinking about class so early?" they were just having breakfast before starting their programs
"well..." said Poppy "I figure you are the best of the class, and since I was away during Summer in Greece, I didn't really do my homework" she admitted with a shy smile "also, you know I'm way better with magical creatures!"
"You can be my partner instead Poppy" said Garreth who seems to always be listening to everyones conversation "I am sure miss hero right here will be with Sallow"
Audrey turned her eyes "No I won't, Poppy is ok with me" she said without looking at Garreth
"Well..." Natty said "He hasn't stop looking at you Audrey" she whispered so only the girls could hear, Audrey's stomach felt lighter somehow
Poppy turned her head without any discretion at all, to the Slytherin table "Why no!" Natty said "Can you be more obvious?"
"I was just checking... he seems taller this year" she pointed out
Audrey lost her appetite "and we care because...?"
"oh I don't care at all" said Poppy "asked the other Ravenclaws, they all noticed him yesterday and seemed to care"
The red-haired frown, she felt curious "Noticed him how? who did?"
Poppy and Natty exchanged a quick look "What?" she asked
"Nothing" said Poppy quickly "just he looks different, older I would say... more mature, some Ravenclaws girls were talking"
Audrey allowed herself to look at the Slytherin's table, his hazel eyes seemed surprised by meeting hers
''He is normal" she pretended to not care while looking away "just as last year"
Poppy laughed and looked at Natty again "Right"
True was that she noticed Sebastian's changes when she saw him yesterday at the train, his back was broader and his shoulders looked somehow...muscular?, but his freckles were still covering his nose, suddenly Audrey's face felt warmer
Poppy stared at Audrey with curiosity "you guys are still friends, aren't you?"
"How about we just go to class?" Natty suggested, she gave her a quick thank you look
But of course, the Slytherins were in that class too, so Audrey quickly took a seat next to Poppy and turned her body away from the door to avoid looking at Sebastian when he came in.
"Audrey is that you?" Ominis said
She couldn't ignore all the Slytherin, specially because Ominis, who she cared deeply "I am here Ominis" she said with a happy voice , once again the hazel eyes were just on her
"I'm also next to you" Poppy smiled since she was in between
Audrey was grateful for Poppy, she really didn't want to be next to them right now. Last year she spend a lot of time with them, and that is why she was so hurt now, it was actually good to not be part of that group right now, of course this feeling wasn't related with the blond Slytherin...
Professor Ronen interrupted her thoughts
"Welcome to six year students!" he said happily "I hope you all had a good summer!"
