"When everything goes to hell, the people who stand by you without flinching -- they are your family. "- Jim Butcher
I stayed with Harry until about 7 in the morning. I didn't sleep at all last night in fear of the nightmares to come. Silently, I found my way into the kitchen and searched the pantry for anything that I could use to make breakfast for the boys. When my eyes landed on cinnamon, a smile grew on my face because these boys were about to experience the most delicious breakfast they have ever tasted.
I awoke to a delicious smell. Usually, in the morning my feet are dragging but today I felt as if I was floating as I followed the delicious scent. I reached the kitchen and saw Niall sitting at the table scoffing down some kind of muffin and Angel leaning on the counter, nibbling on a muffin and watching Niall with an amused smirk on her face as another moan came from him. At that moment I really saw how tiny Angel was. The T-shirt given to her by Niall swamped her and the gym shorts were well past her knees. I hoped she slept well last night but judging by the dark circles under her eyes I would say no. The pair finally saw me and Niall pulled me down into the seat next to him and shoved a muffin into my hand. I opened my mouth to protest but Niall pressed his finger to my lips.
"Don't speak, let the muffin do the talking." With that he watched me intently, awaiting my reaction as I bit into it. Cinnamon heaven filled my mouth and I threw my head back in a pleasure filled moan. This was the most delicious thing I'd ever tasted.
"Oh my god, I don't know how I ever thought I lived before this." I groaned before stuffing my mouth once again. I guess all of Niall and I's moaning and groaning woke the others because Louis, Liam, and Harry stumbled into the kitchen.
"Why does it sound like you guys are having an org-" Harry started but his vulgar phrase was cut off by Liam slapping a hand over the cheeky boys mouth.
"Don't you dare finish that sentence Styles." Liam warned. The boys then sat down and soon found themselves in the same state as us.
Good thing I made a bunch of the muffins because these boys inhaled them. As another chorus of moans filled the air, I couldn't help but burst out laughing. The boys all turned and stared at me, effectively making me very self conscious of myself.
"What?" I asked.
"You have such a pretty laugh..." Louis said in a wonder filled tone. Well this is awkward. I rubbed the back of my neck, something I did in awkward situations. The boys continued eating the muffins as if they were eating their last meal until there was no more left. As if they had just remembered I was here they turned and looked at me panicked.
"We didn't save any for you..." Harry drawled, guilt evident in his voice. I waved of their worry.
"Unlike you guys, my stomach isn't a bottomless pit," I reassured them with a smile. "Thank goodness I made as much as I did."
All the boys', except Niall, jaws dropped. I had already told Niall when he came down this morning.
"You made this piece of cinnamon sugar heaven?" Liam asked, eyes wide.
"Yeah they're cinnamon streusel muffins. Big Mama taught me how to make them though I added a secret ingredient." I told them. Immediately, the boys dropped to their knees raising their hands and calling out blessings and hallelujahs. I laughed at them once again, these boys were something else.
"Well, you need to get ready." Louis said vaguely after everyone had put up their dishes.
"What for?" I asked. Louis looked me dead in the eye.
