In the castle. Aku had seen the whole thing, using his remote viewing power. He was frustrated, easily seen by the look on his face. He turned away from the scene. "They're stronger than I thought." He said first. "But no matter," he continued. Calming himself down.
"For you see little Centaur. The world is mine." Now having an evil grin. "My eyes and ears are everywhere. Nothing you do will go unseen. Quest as you and your friends may, but we'll meet when I see fit. In a time and place of my choosing. And it is I who shall put an end to the battle started in that age long passed, Princess. Hahaha!" He declared, then laughed.
The group had left the scene. Leaving the decimated pile of metal. Still in the forest, and Blaze leading the way.
(This is the shortest chapter of the book so far. I wanted to have Aku's reaction seen and the group moving on for this one.)
