Consequences

"hello" said Becky as she stared hesitantly at the door that had just been knocked
"its me" came the familiar voice of her boss, her business mommy
"just a second" said Becky trying desperately to think of an escape plan, but failing any reasonable way out with two babies in hand she slowly opened the door.

Her business mommy stomped into the apartment followed closely by Mandy and Ben, Mandy sneering at Becky.

"you had better give me my babies bitch" said Mandy with a snarl
"please don't speak to my employee like that" said the mother calmly casting a careful glance in Mandy's direction
"you don't speak to me like that, or I'll.." started Mandy before the mother quietly said "freeze".  Both Mandy and Ben froze on the spot just staring into space.
"I don't like to do that to customers" said the mother, "but we need to talk without interruptions".

"they are monsters" said Becky, "they hold parties where littles are mutilated and even killed"
"Do you think the organisation does not know these things?" asked the mother, "but we have to remove our empathy, after all you have already stolen these people lives, leaving them nothing but helpless babies already"

"Yes, but they should at least be cared for like any other infant"
"do I need to remind you what the consequences are for abusing your position?"
"no mother" said Becky, "I just wanted to make sure that these two babies are cared for, is it possible for me to take them?"
"of course not" exclaimed the mother "how prosperous of you to even suggest it, we make infants where only adults were before, we don't then care for them, that is the job of our customer"
"but our customers are sometimes monsters" said Becky forgetting who she was talking to and almost shouting.
"STOP" said the mother in a command and Becky found herself frozen but able to listen but do nothing else.

"you understand the consequences for abusing your position, yet you are now arguing with me to justify that abuse.  I will give you one more chance to do the right thing, RELEASE".  Becky felt her body begin to respond to her again.
"OK mother" she said, "I will do what you say.
"unfreeze" the mother said to Mandy and Ben who were a little disorientated at first as Becky and the mother had seemingly moved around the room instantaneously from their perspective.
"I'll escalate to your mother superior" finished Mandy not realising that her snetance had been cut off half way through.

"no need for that" said the mother, "Becky here has agreed to hand over the two babies as soon as the regressing has completed which should be in the next few hours".
"ok" said Mandy with a big of a grumble
"I suggest we have a visit to the small restaurant across the street for a nice meal while Becky minds the babies as the complete their regression, the meal is on me as an apology from the organisation for this inconvenience".
"OK" said Mandy, "Come on Ben, lets have a good meal before we get tied down with diapers"

"tied down with diapers is precisely what you will get if you shout at me again" muttered the mother under her breath.  "see you in a few hours Becky"
"ok, by mother" said Becky as the three adults left the apartment.

"what can she do" asked Jake in a rare moment of adult comprehension and vocal control
"very terrible things" said Becky, "there are worse things than just being a baby with a mind that only rarely lets you have a tiny glimpse of your former adult life" she looked to see if Jake was still listening but he was suckling on his pacifier again and trying to grab the plastic toys suspended on a bar in front of him on the pushchair.  "I see you are back to being a baby again" sad Becky.

Becky thought back to her time in training, all of the novices had to sign up to a 20 year training programme which seemed stupidly long, little did any of them know that they would be regressed physically to infants, unable to speak or control themselves in any way, and then forced to grow up all over again under the tuition of the organisation.  Any novice who failed in exams or abused their position was re-regressed to infancy but with their adult mind intact which was torture in itself, but they would be given a different drug that froze their aging process so that they aged extremely slowly never being able to achieve words or any other bodily control before they would eventually die of old age.  It was a punishment worse than death.

Becky thought about her friend Tiff, who had always been the top of the class, better than anyone else and she thought she was untouchable because of it.  She stepped out of line one too many times and then disappeared one day.  A few weeks later Tiff returned to see her class mates, only now she was an infant kicking and crying.  Becky remembered a feeling of dread in her stomach as she watched the former class star be passed around her class mates as a learning tool, this is what will happen if you step out of line, when Tiff was handed to Becky she had messed her diaper and was squirming not wanting one of her classmate to change her diaper, the class mother told Becky she had to do it.  So Becky changed the diaper of her classmate who was squirming all of the time, then afterwards Tiff was taken away and Becky never saw her again.

That was what happened to those who abused their position within the organisation, yet here was Becky thinking of doing it again while the mother went for a meal, she looked at her two babies who were even now getting smaller by the minute and very soon would be the three month old infants the drug was designed to make.

"come babies, time for us to go"..
