It's around 7 am. Eli and Peter are asleep. I don't know about Derek. I'm in the kitchen sitting there trying to calm myself down. I hear footsteps and look behind me. I see Derek standing there. I wipe my tears away and stand up trying to leave.
"Yn, please. Wait" I stop right before I exit the kitchen.
"What?".
"Could we maybe talk?" I turn around and look at him.
"So you can yell at me again?".
"No. I ... I want to apologize" I just stared at him. "I have been awful to you since Eli came and after that post was posted. I feel awful about it".
"Yeah. Don't worry" I try to leave again but he talks.
"I'm sorry. I ... " I stopped walking but didn't turn around. "You made a mistake and solved it the next day. I made it a really huge ... Thing. I ... I messed up. I know and I understand if you don't want to forgive me but ... " I turn around and look at him.
"That will be your third chance, Derek. You messed up badly for once again".
