(A/n: this takes place, 6th year let's pretend that Draco still plays quidditch)

You awoke in your bed staring at the ceiling of y/h's dorm room anxious because it was your first Quittich game and it was against slytherin of all houses to go against (if you are in Slytherin I'm sorry for this story just pretend)

You slowly get up and change into your Robes and make your way out of your common room down to the great hall for breakfast.

You walk through the huge wooden doors and spot your friend Luna lovegood sitting with the golden trio you decide to sit next to her.

"Good morning Luna" you say "Harry, Ron , Hermione" you greet the other three sitting there

"Good morning y/n how did you sleep?" She says dreamily

"I slept ok I'm still nervous about the quidditch game today we are against slytherin and I know from watching that they play dirty" you sigh

"Oh you'll do great y/n you're the greatest seeker on y/h's team ever" Ron chimed in.

"Yea I agree I don't doubt that you'll win" Hermione smiled

Harry nodded in agreement as he had a mouth full of food you smiled

"Thank you guys that means a lot" you started to eat breakfast.

"When is the game starting?" Luna asked as she played with her necklace

"I believe after potions I think it's happening a little earlier than normal because we are supposed to have a nasty storm sometime today" you said realizing that the storm could happen during the game made you more nervous

"Well we will be cheering you on y/n that's a promise" Harry said smiling at you.

"Thank you Harry" you kissed his cheek.

He blushed but you kissed all your friends on the cheek including Luna so it wasn't really a big deal.

You looked at the clock and realized that potions were starting soon and if you were late again snape would definitely give you detention.

"I got to go to potions if I'm late again snape would kill me" you stuffed a roll in your mouth and waved goodbye to your friends as you rushed down to the dungeon.

You rush into Snape's classroom and quickly sit down he turns to you

"Well miss y/n I'm glad to see you are on time" his slow voice boomed

You nodded awkwardly as you took your seat and got out your book and quill soon students began to fill the classroom students from y/h sat next to you.

Class started and Snape's monotone voice seemed to drag on forever you were only studying history of potions today which made you feel like you should've been late to avoid this boring lecture.

Snape soon dismissed you and you ran to the Quidditch shower and locker room to change in to your uniform.

You waited for the rest of your team to show up you peeked out to see students pouring in to the bleachers and you instantly started to feel anxious.

The rest of y/h team mates showed up and soon the game started you flew out on your broom and levitated above everyone while madam hooch explained everything you looked around and your eyes met with the slytherin seeker Draco Malfoy.

You've had a crush on him since 4th year he just became more and more handsome as he got older he noticed your gaze and Chuckled as you blushed

Madam hooch blew the whistle and the game was on you zoomed around trying to find the golden snitch you had to win for y/h

As you were flying thunder could be heard coming closer and closer to the quidditch field you saw the dark storm clouds rolling in oh no your thoughts made you panic when a golden blur caught your attention the snitch was right next to you.

You zoomed towards it to catch it you reached your hand out as far as you can clasping it in your hand then BOOM lighting struck your broom breaking it in half you started to fall faster to the ground you closed your eyes and braced for impact when

You felt someone catch you on their broom you hit kinda hard knocking the wind out of you still holding the snitch you open your eyes to see Draco Malfoy had caught you.

"Are you alright y/l/n?" He asked as he flew you down to the ground

"Yea I'm ok thank you Malfoy" you smiled

"Y/N HAS CAUGHT THE SNITCH Y/H WINS!" Lee Jordan yelled

You held up the snitch proudly smiling draco was watching you and slight smiling as well

"Well played y/l/n but you might want to get a new broom" Draco said pointing a few feet away you see your broom in two pieces on the grass

"Oh bloody hell I can't afford a new broom" you said sadly he studied your face for a minute you started to walk away with your head down he gently grabbed your hand

"Hey wait here" he handed you his broom "it's a nibus 2001 I have plenty at home so I don't really need it" he said a pink tint forming on his cheek

"Really? You would give me your broom?" You asked in shock

"Yea I have plenty I-" you interrupted him mid sentence with a hug

"Thank you so much Draco" you said as you hugged him

He froze for a second then quickly melted into the hug "No problem y/n" you pulled away from the hug and smiled at him he smiled back and you started blushing he was just so handsome

"I-i um should get back to class" you stuttered

"What class do you have next?" He asked

"Um charms" you said

"I'll walk with you" he said this as he wrapped his arm over your shoulder making you blush more he chuckled at this not in a mocking way just a friendly way.
