chapter sixteen

Point of view Connor (next day)

"Good morning Con did you sleep well? What do you want for breakfast?" Dad asks "morning I did but my neck hurts i'm not hungry yet I'll ask Fred or Leah to make me some food" I turn the TV on I want to watch the music awards from yesterday i'm the lead singer of a music duo called the lunar year we got nominated for an award and I want to know if we won i'm playing guitar in Brad's little band the vamps too I recommended it to the fans and we're slowly getting more popular.

James🫂: guys we got a hundred followers thanks to Connor's shout out thanks Con

Brad🙄: how?

Connor: i'm the lead of the lunar year I wanted to tell you guys but you never listen

Tris❤: we don't?

James🫂: I knew it already because he called me he got nominated

Connor: don't be I just wish you guys listen more sometimes we have our first interview Saturday

I don't really hate the guy I work with but he isn't the kindest either I know James and Brad don't like him because of his older brother "morning dad, morning Con are you excited for tonight?" Louis asks "yeah I am I can't wait to see the boys and Evie again, who are you inviting?" He sits down and says just Mason, Oliver, Tyler, Andy and Tommy from soccer, they are so fucking kind to me and Evie but they hate Tristan and I don't know why they are mean to him he's kind

That night

My friends and I are watching a movie on my laptop Tyler and Andy are making mean comments to Tristan and it annoys me we are In my room but I broke the TV a few weeks ago when I was mad so we use my laptop Tyler and Mason walk in "get out of my room assholes there's a reason we sit in my room" I say "Louis wants to talk to you Connor" I look at them "he knows he can come here" I say "c'mon just talk to him Connor it's important" I roll my eyes mad.

A few days later

"Are you excited for school? Con you have an appointment after school and Lou Nana is picking you and Livie up" dad says "but I promised to be in the studio couldn't you tell me that earlier?" He shakes his head Liam is already at school I had the best birthday party I met the boys from 5sos and went to their concert and interview with Liam and I got the things I wanted Tristan and James gave me a customized guitar pick and Brad gave me an electric guitar with green glitters i'm happy with it.

From Shawn and Mila I got my own microphone and from the family I got a nail kit except Sierra she gave me a video camera I like her I can talk to her and Mila about everything they feel like a mother figure, I don't really know what Louis got because I was busy with my own presents and friends Tyler and Mason told me why they hate Tristan and it is reasonable I mean his family made their family miserable but I told them they don't have to worry I know Louis asked them to protect me.

We get out and I walk to the boys giving them a hug "hey Ev are you excited to join our class?" I ask "no i'm scared I mean Louis and his friends hate me" that's her worry Matt walks to us looking at Evie like she's an object "listen Louis and his friends don't hate you they don't like me hanging out with people they don't know" I say she nods "hey babe want to go on a date with me?" She looks at us and we shake our heads he's a player and only wants to have sex.

"Leave my girlfriend alone Matt she doesn't want you and you only want her for sex she's worth more than that" Oli says wait he and Evie are dating? Evie nods at us she knows our questions "listen you may be a friend of my brother but if you hurt Evie you are dead Oliver John Andrews" he looks at me and says I won't hurt an angel I look at Louis and sign at him he needs to follow me what he does he looks at me a little mad that I pulled him away from his chat with his girlfriend.

Livie: Con can Evie come over?

Connor: you need to ask dad that sweetie

Livie: dad can Evie come over?

Dad: I'm not home and Connor has an appointment and dance practice

Connor: maybe she can come tommorow her father is here today she wants to spend time with him

Liam: i'm babysitting tommorow but I'm fine with it if their parents and your father agree with it and I think Louis can invite his friends too

Louis: I have soccer tommorow so I'm at Tyler's or Oli's

Dad: okay let me me know if you sleep there.

"What?" Louis asks annoyed "don't you see how in love Liam and dad are with each other and they aren't going to make a move so we need to do it" he looks at me he knows I have a plan "how do you want to do that? Dad checks our phones thanks to your spray paint action and I don't want any trouble" Louis says "we won't dad changed a lot since he met Liam he wouldn't punish us for trying to do the right thing I text you the plan" we walk back to our friends.

We walk into our class we are sitting with five or six people well we are with four but maybe he's nice enough to let Evie sit with us "Goodmorning class we have a new student today her name is Evie be nice to her especially the boys you can sit down next to Connor and Brad" Mister Anderson says "we seriously have luck with him" Tristan is right we four now five can do anything because we get good grades we aren't on a private school because we wanted to have all kinds of friends Livie is on a private school.
