I was never the winner. This game we'd been playing was always lost and so was I. How could I make a decision so important it could change the course of the future, in the span of a couple of seconds. Had my destiny stored nothing but grief for my future? How was I  going to choose between the woman I loved and my kin?

Were they doing nothing more than playing the devil's advocates or were they somehow right in what they were saying - that I was bound by the prophecy to choose. In any case I was doomed. Inherently.

It's not a nice feeling when the whole world relies on misery in search of happiness but somehow the escapism felt worth it. I travelled a long way to  the south of the border to get help from friends and allies alike but neither of them could help get rid of the curse it seemed.

When I got back to the grey stony castle I could hear screams inside- it was my kin, all tied up. The Reeves had taken to kidnapping it seemed - what a load of pathetic fucks. I tried my best to escape unscathed into the room but the guards caught me .

"Where do you think you're going Missy".

"I was- *fuck what do I say*, searching for Maude."

"Who the hell is Maude?"

"The queen." I drawled as if he was as stupid as he looked.

"Oook."

"They need to get better guards, honestly how can you not know the name of the queen" I muttered to myself.

Anyway,  I quickly slipped past the guards and tried my absolute hardest not to be seen, luckily I made it to the entrance this time so then I  tried to climb the stony wall.

But I fell down on my first try. Third times the charm so I went and did it again and... failed yeah this was not a good idea.

A/N: It's a bit longer this time but I hope y'all enjoy it nevertheless
