Jin called for the hospital and requested a medical team to be on standby as he was on his way.

The weather was cold, even in Jungkook's room it was cold since the window was open, but he was sweating and his body was heating up.

Jin quickly picked him up and hurried out of the room, making sure to lock before he left.

He drove as fast as he could while one of his hands was on Jungkook's forehead, he was getting worse, "how on earth did you get like this?" he wondered.

He was glad that he came as fast as he did instead of taking his time. It was clear that Jungkook had not read the books he gave him or he wouldn't have been so casual about having a headache, or any kind of pain for that matter.

The Kim household was quite, the few maids that were there had very little to do, so they barely moved around.

Taehyung reached for his phone, it was eight in the morning, last night he was able to get some sleep.

He carried himself to the bathroom and took a long shower, no wanting to stop the hot water that was pouring down on him.

About an hour and a half later he came downstairs, his uncle should be back by now, he thought.

He looked around the house but he wasn't there, one of the maids later told him that he was out in the garden.

"O, I thought you weren't going to come down to meet me" His uncle said with a smile, "uncle" Taehyung said walking towards him to give him a hug.

After greeting each other, his uncle suggested they go out for brunch, "I know a nice place" he said as they made their way to the car and he was driving.

Taehyung was a bit out of it and no matter how much he tried to hide it, it wasn't working, but he agreed to go out with his uncle, he was actually glad that he wasn't alone.

Once they arrived at the restaurant, his uncle asked him to go in first and order since he had to make a call.

After having placed his order, Taehyung sat looking at his phone, there were some messages but none from Jungkook, he was secretly hoping there would be something.

He thought for a second and convinced himself that there was no harm in calling, they can still talk right.

The phone rang for the third time, there was still no response, he waited again but still no one was picking up.

Disappointed and feeling hurt, he put his phone away, clearly Jungkook has made up his mind he thought.

"What did you order?" it was his uncle who asked as he approached the table, "your favorite" Taehyung replied with a small smile.

The was silence for a bit-

"Are you ever going to tell me? his uncle said
"Is it that obvious" Taehyung asked sitting up properly
"Well, you haven't really been making that good of an effort" his uncle replied focusing his gaze on Taehyung's plate. He had only been pocking at his food.

"We broke up-"

"I mean the person I wanted to introduce you to, we were dating but he broke up with me" Taehyung explained as he bit the side of his lower lip.

He uncle observed him for a moment, he had a hunch that he might be dating or at least like this person because it's not like him to simply introduce just anyone to his family.

"I am really sorry about that-" he said.

Taehyung sucked in a breath, "I- I want to say it's okay, but it's really not and I don't want to lie to you-" he said, his eyes were glistering as he blinked continuously to hold back the tears.

"You must have really liked him"
"I did, I mean I still do, but he doesn't like me anymore".

"Hey, don't give up too soon" His uncle said assuringly.

Taehyung didn't want to be strong, not with his uncle, he didn't want to keep telling himself it was fine when it wasn't.

"I really don't know what I did wrong uncle, everything was fine up until recently. He even greed to meet you and all of a sudden he wanted to break up, and I don't- I don't know what I did wrong".

The older Kim hated to see how hurt his nephew was, he was very familiar with matters of the heart, even though it has been a while since he was that young, he knew what a teenage heartbreak felt like.

He moved his chair and sat next to Taehyung who was wiping away his tears, he gently laid his head on his shoulder.

"You didn't do anything wrong, you will be okay" he said gently patting his back.

The two remained in a comfortable silence for a while. Even though Taehyung would hide such things from his friends, it wasn't the same with his family.

His immediate family was very close, no matter was too big or too small to be discussed, that is how he was raised. His uncle and his father would always tell him and his cousin "if you can't tell me the truth now, say so, but don't lie".

Because when you hide things that you shouldn't you only make things worse.
