Geo got to the treehouse, but since he was so worn out from the serum and the burns on his neck, he was tuckered out. He then saw Charles sitting on the bed smiling, "Seems like someone has gotten slower." Geo scoffed and rolled his eyes, "No I'm just tired..." He sat down next to Charles, not really doing much. Charles smirked and rolled her eyes, "Sure, it's not like you're warming up to me~ It's not like you're starting to care~" He turned his face away from the gaze of Charles's eyes. He sighed and looked at her, "Look, I felt generous in the moment...your pushing it, Owl." She sighed and then patted his head. "Sure thing, Geo," He growled but didn't give her any glare. It was obvious he was warming up and actually starting to care. She smiled and then crossed her legs sitting on the bed and started to lean closer to Geo, "So...you more comfortable to talk about your past now?" He looked at her, not really showing much of a thought as he sighed and looked to the ground. "Yea...I can go on my little tangent, I guess." Charles started to get a bit excited. He was never this open about anything before. All she needed to do was prove she was trustworthy...it worked out well. Geo took a breath as he sat further back on the bed, leaning his head and back on the wall. "When I was younger, my name was Arkian...I was a female at the time. I had a twin brother named Backster...he was the families hero, the one that everyone gave gifts too and look to for advice and ideas. I was the disappointment of the family. I would get low grades, and he would get all A's...I would get treated harshly just for getting a high B, it was a very bad environment where I lived. Well when I as younger...my auntie decided to adopt my cousin Sarah, she was the only one that actually cared, the only one that brought a smile on my face. Until one day she was taken away from me because she was caught supporting my name and Pronouns. I didn't see her until one day I got news that she was in a car crash. I obviously ran to the hospital but was kicked out by my family. I eventually got back in the hospital when they left and saw her when she was breathing her last breath...I watched her die in front of me, I watched her cry her last tear...I held her hand till her body went numb. I was there for her first moments of being in my family, and last. After that, I refused to ever have any other attachment to any other mobian. I refused, until I made friends, which were originally my bullies from elementary school. That was my big mistake. They ended up getting murdered at a bar after of being friends with them for two whole years. I could fucking take it...seeing everyone I cared for and loved just disappear so slowly while I'm stuck living here. People ask me my age, and I can never say it...I've been stuck here for years, but when I became immortal...I was 18, so I just believe that I'm stuck at that age, nothing has changed about my body ever since I was 18. Apart from maybe my body getting weaker and my body not healing as fast." Charles was completely silent, stuck almost too frozen to even move. She then started to tear up as she then pointed up to his neck. "So what about your scars...I heard Lucas and a guy name Mr. Rogers say if it is self-inflicted it heals but it stuck there forever...so I'm guessing the ones on your wrists, neck, and ankles are all..." He kept quiet as he looked at her showing what she was thinking was all correct. Her eyes widened, "You thought it would end if you did that, since if others did it to you and if you hurt yourself and it didn't heal all the way....you thought you would be able to be happy again." He looked up at the ceiling and nodded his head. "It was multiple attempts sadly...I had a really bad depressed time in my life that I just wanted to leave, but I couldn't." Geo sat up a bit. "You'd think that immortality would be a great gift, but all it is...is insanity, after seeing multiple people die, seeing people leave you, having to indulge pain for people hurting you physically until it heals...not being able to sleep, overwhelmed...nothing changes for me...not until recently." He then looked at Charles and smiled a bit. Charles eyes were filled with tears as she then hugged him tight. He froze up not used to feeling these emotions quiet yet. "I am so...so very sorry you ever had to go through that Geo, just know I accept who you are...and I will always be here to help you till I can't anymore." Geo still frozen as his eyes started to fill with tears. "I won't let anything hurt you again...I never thought of how much it must of hurt you to be on repeat, stuck in a loop all because you immortal. You deserve so much better." Charles still hugging him tight. Geo crying quietly into Charles shoulder, this feeling was overwhelming to Geo...it always shoved this feeling down, but he finally felt okay to accept the feeling. He finally hugged back tighter than Charles was keeping his face hidden in Charles neck. Charles then wrapped her wings around him rubbing his back slowly as she softly whispered "shh" with every back stroke. He started to calm down as she then pulled away from the hug. She then put her fingers under Geos chin and wiped his tears away from his eyes. "I am so sorry you ever went through that Geo, but you are a strong mobian...I believe in you, and on another note...your not alone anymore, I'm here for you." He smiled as she then hugged him again, as he hugged back. "I believe in you Geo...the Geo I know would never give up easily, and I am here to help you." He smiled as the hug ended. She patted his head and then the pillow. "Now it's your turn to get some sleep, you need your rest to heal." He nodded his head and laid down. She then sat in the chair next the bed and started to rub his head to help him sleep, knowing he has problems with stay up. He smiled as he slowly fell asleep. She then walked away and started to work on something at her desk happily working.
