(Taking Her Innocence)

Barging into Ariel’s room, Aiden walks in angrily making her flinch a bit at the bang of the door

“Hmmmph” he sighs trying to control the anger welling up in him
“I’m sorry for barging in this way, but you need to get dress, we are leaving” he muttered

“But….” She tried saying, but he was out of the room already. She sighs wondering his sudden change of mood. Does it have to do with his parent fight? She hasn’t seen him that angry before, but she believes that he will come around after everything is settled. She doesn’t think she will like to live with an angry Aiden; she really won’t feel comfortable around him, seeing him that way.

Without wasting more time, she started changing into a more suitable dress, and not up to five minutes, some maids hurried in after being summoned. They assisted her by packing some of her clothes into luggage, making her wonder the type of journey she will be going on, that will require much clothes.

Aiden headed to his room immediately after leaving Ariel’s, he went ahead to pick his car keys, ATM cards and other items before getting out. He ordered some maids to assist Ariel in her room, and headed for his mother’s room.

“Aiden…..you…are….’ She paused seeing the anger on his face
“Where is he mum, where is he?” he asked, his chest going up and down simultaneously

“Hmmmm..” she sighed, returning to what she was doing, not giving him a reply. This angered him the more

“Mum…..why are you covering up for him…..why are you not speaking up..He f**king hit you mum….”

Setting her bed in order, she looked up into his eyes, with pain clearly written in her eyes, a drop of tear rolled down her cheek. She sniffed

“He went into his room after the argument we had” she mumbled
“But he is not there” Aiden groan

“You need to calm down son; you can’t fight your father….. What we had has to do with the both of us…we will settle among ourselves…” she tried saying bit he cuts her short

“But he hits you mum….Dad has been treating you like dirt right from when we were little…it’s not fair..but he used to be a good man to the world, who doesn’t know that he is a beast a sheep clothing”

“Aiden!!!!!” his mother screamed

“You won’t want your dad to hear you saying that….look dear…don’t worry about me….I will be fine..okay” she assured, cupping his cheek in her hand. He pulled it off, a bit touched by her action, but not ready to admit it
“Axel was right, dad shouldn’t control our lives anymore, but it hurts me so much why you couldn’t see it that way” he muttered softly, turning to leave

“Whatever I do now,….i do it for you and your siblings” She replied. He paused to hear more from her, but she went back to what she was doing, not saying more than that. He left afterward, while Ariel joined him in the car.

She stared at his face and noticed it’s cold look, she couldn’t afford to ask where they are going to, but she strongly believe that she is safe with him. Her mind suddenly drifted to her mum, and Miss Peggy, she might have found out about their escape and tried looking for her.

She wonders what Juan is up to now, was she caught or did she manage to escape to the safe place she was talking about. All those questions seem like a mystery to her, because they were no answers to them.

She noticed Aiden staring at her; they were the only ones in the car, apart from the driver. She wondered why he was staring at her that way. Did she do anything wrong? She thought
