As you strolled down the corridor of your school Hogwarts running your hand along the cool brick wall you are in your little world thinking about your best friend of six years Cedric Diggory.
You've had a crush on him since 4th year but you are too scared that you'll ruin such a long friendship with your feelings.
You made your way to charms class today y/h are paired with Hufflepuff luckily for you that means you are next to Cedric today.
You walk into class and see Cedric laughing with another Hufflepuff boy.
"hi ced!" you said as you sat down.
"hi y/n/n!" he said smiling at you with that gorgeous smile that made your heart flutter.
"do you know what charm we are doing today?" you asked trying to hide the blush on your cheek
"umm I think it's Alohomora," he said leaning closer
"oh right I should've memorized that," you let out nervously
"Are you ok y/n/n you're a little red" he chuckled
"oh yeah Ced I'm fine it's just a little warm in here" you lied not looking at him
Soon Flitwick spoke
"alright class today we will be learning the spell Alohomora, can anyone tell me what alohomora does?" his eyes scanned the room and they land on you
"ah miss y/n do you know the answer?" he questioned
"yes professor alohomora is the unlocking spell," you said trying to not sound nervous
"very good miss y/n five points to y/h" he smiled.
Cedric smiled at you and patted your back which made you blush like crazy soon class was over and you were heading to the Grand hall for lunch
As you walk into the grand hall Cedric calls you over to the Hufflepuff table to eat with him
"Hey, y/n are you ok?" he asked
"I'm fine Ced why do you ask?" you questioned back
"well I've noticed lately when we hang out you're all nervous and you're acting weird" he looked concerned
"Ced it's complicated I don't know if I can tell you" you admitted
"y/n we have been best friends for six years you can tell me anything" as he said this he placed his hand on yours
You felt your face get hot all of these thoughts and emotions running through your body you kinda freeze in place not moving just thinking.
"y/n? Hello are you there" Cedric waved his hand in front of your face.
All the overwhelming feelings were about to burst and you couldn't stop your words
"I wanna be more than friends ced!" you slightly shouted.
Cedric froze with a look of shock on his face you notice this and start over thinking about how you just ruined a perfectly good friendship with your outburst
You got up and ran out of the grand hall ignoring Cedric telling you to come back
You ran to your common room and fell to the floor right outside the door you lay your head back on the cool brick wall too embarrassed to open your eyes when you heard footsteps heading towards you
"y/n!" Cedric called out
"ced go away I'm too embarrassed," you said looking away from him.
"Why are you embarrassed y/n?" He asked sitting next to you
"Because I know you probably don't feel the same way" you say looking down
"Who says I don't?" He layed his hand on yours
"W-what?" You stuttered out
"Y/n the truth is I've liked you since our 3rd year I just didn't want to ruin our friendship" he says as he gazed into your E/c eyes
"Ced It won't ruin our friendship I've liked you just as long" you smile at him
Cedric started to lean in and so did you before you knew your lips touched in a sweet and caring kiss that you wanted to last forever
"Y/n" Cedric said breaking the kiss
"Yes Ced?" You asked
"Will you be mine?" Cedric asked
"I've always been yours Cedric" you say this and pull him in for another kiss this one with more passion like both of you have wanted this forever
