Epilogue- 12 years Later

I was always proud of my Mom, for as long as I could remember she was fair and strong. She showed me everything I could do with my strange gift that like hers I'd find new parts of it, every time I had Mom either showed me or she asked one of my many Aunts and Uncles; The Wanderers.

Dad always reminded me, just like he did before the Mission Momma and he were on that no matter how Tough things got it'd pan out in the end. Both Mom and Dad hated leaving me home but this mission was Mom's last one for Offical X, from the hearse to the grave.
I had been to funerals in the past but after Nana's I hated them. Dad had scolded me worse than when I pants Emily at the Mall since Half of Duskwood was ready to come with pitchforks and torches but I was the only Funeral Crasher.
I turned in my computer chair staring at my co-conspirator. Jake, He wasn't about to let some town kids harass Alfie Walter's at the cemetery. Mom went ballistic when one of the boys Mothers slapped me at the police station, it wasn't ever a great thing to Piss my Mom off.

Jake was typing on his laptop and watching the funeral on surveillance "Balor, Is that Bear?"

I leaned over Jake brushing but mop of black hair to the side "That's Bear alright. There's Grant. Malone. Jake why's everyone there?"

"I see Richy too. Did Mom text you this morning?" Jake asked looking at his phone

I grabbed mine checking it. Neither of my parents had texted me after their goodnight texts, Bear had texted me saying they were with Uncle Eli.
I got a text that made me smile as I held my phone.

Sunny: Hey Balor

Balor: HI Sunny 🌞

Sunny: Watching the funeral?

Balor: Yeah we are

Sunny: what's with the extra security?

I opened the surveillance link Jake sent me, I scanned the crowd letting my Gift check the situation I mumbled "Jake, Emily got to go?!"

Jake rolled beside me "Eli was on a mission, he let Emily go on this one."

I fumed as I text Sunny.

Balor: Emily got to go -_-

Sunny: I know.

(Sunny added Emily to the chat)

Emily: Thx Sun! BJ you have our back right?

Balor: Always. What's with the added security? Mom said it was simple.

Emily: I'm not sure. I didn't get a chance to talk to your mom and dad yet. Looks like we're all seated now...She checked her phone so text her BJ.

Sunny: Yeah text Kig, BJ 😀

I closed out of the chat with the girls, I wouldn't have if Sunny didn't agree. I started a Group Chat with all three of my Parents.

Balor: Parents I realize you're at work but I don't like the extra security.
