Maria knew Mikey had a brother, she met his sister Sugar once. She was nice, helpful too. Marie didn't know Carmen, he didn't show up at the funeral with the rest of the family.
Carmen knew of Maria, every chance his brother got he talked about her. He even talked about her dead husband, 'that fucker didn't know what he was missing' it was obvious he had a small crush on the woman. he described her in the way that she was art, and how he expressed art was through food.
