It's your 4th year in Hogwarts you are in y/h and you are best friends with Ron Weasley you have always been close since you were next-door neighbors you also became close to Fred and George Weasley you had a major crush on George and you have for a while, you thought it would've gone away by now but it hasn't.

It was lunchtime in the great hall the yule ball was slowly approaching only 3 more days you sat at the Gryffindor table with Ron, Harry, and Hermione you were friends with the other two but not as close.

"So y/n" you heard Freds' voice behind you

"Yes, Fredrick," you said smirking at him.

"Who's your date to the yule ball?" He asked George behind him

"Haha, Fred I don't have one," you say with a slight sadness in your voice.

"Well why not" Harry chimed in

You shrug "no one asked me I don't even know if I'm gonna go"

"You have to go y/n," Ron said "I'm going"

You smile "thanks Ronald"

You heard George "well y/n if you go I'll be there too" you blushed and nodded at George.

Ron and Harry looked at each other with a knowing smile and snickered. You hit their arms and glared

Soon lunch was over and you started to head to your common room to hold a chocolate frog that Ron gave you when you bumped into someone

"Oh sorry i- oh it's you nevermind," you say as you look to see Draco Malfoy

"Watch where you're going mud blood" he spat

"Oh shut up Malfoy maybe you should pay attention" you glared at him he got up in your face

"And maybe you should lay off the chocolate frogs" as he said this he knocked it out of your hand.

You glared right into his eyes "fuck you Malfoy"

"In your dreams tubby" that last word stabbed you like a knife Draco pushed past you. You looked down at the chocolate frog on the floor and went to pick it up dusting it off you put it in your pocket and continued to your common room you went inside and made your way to your dorm ignoring everyone you laid in bed replaying what Draco had said over and over you turn to face the wall and just lay there even ignoring your roommate.

It's been 2 days since you've skipped classes making the professors concerned even Snape was concerned because you never miss a class you skipped breakfast and lunch not wanting to see Malfoys stupid face. suddenly there's a knock at your door.

"Y/n?.." you recognize that voice it's George

"Go away Weasley," you say not wanting to look up

"y/n we are worried about you what's going on," he said sweetly

"Nothing George I'm just not feeling well" you lied

"Can I please come in?" He asked concerned

"Fine" you get up and open the door to see a sad look on George's face as he looks at you noticing the tear stains on your cheeks.

You go and sit in your bed George follows as you both sit down you are just looking at your hands

"What's going on y/n?" George asks

"Malfoys being a dick" you sigh not looking at George

"What did he do?" He asked protectively

"He called me tubby and told me to lay off the chocolate frogs I know I'm fat but it hurts to hear it," you say tears filling your eyes again

George grabs your hand making you jump a little bit. "Y/n first Malfoy is a git second he doesn't know what he's talking about you are Chubby sure but you are beautiful," George says smiling at you

You meet his gaze and blush bright red "thank you George that means a lot" you say smiling at him

"I have an idea why don't you go with me to the yule ball tomorrow that way everyone can see how beautiful you are" he gazes into your e/c eyes as you get lost in his beautiful chocolate eyes. 

"I'd love to go Georgie," you say as you squeeze his hand.

**Time skip to yule ball**

You are getting ready with Hermione and Ginny you put in a gorgeous dress in your favorite color Ginny does your hair and makeup you look in the mirror and can't help but smile you looked stunning

You walk arm in arm with Ginny and Hermione as you get to the stairs you see Viktor Krum and Neville Longbottom waiting for Ginny and Hermione you let them go as they go to their dates. As you walk down the stairs you see George beaming up at you Ron and Harry's mouths are agape and Fred whistled playfully making you laugh. You made it to the bottom of the steps George holds out his hand

"Shall we darling?" he says blushing as he bows you nod and curtsey making both of you giggle he guides you to the dance floor and you dance closely for hours then he speaks

"Y/n"

"Yes Georgie" you look up at him seeing that he's already looking at you

"Can I kiss you?" He asks blushing profusely

You froze for a second before pulling him into a loving kiss he kisses back and smiles in the kiss you pull apart after a minute and looks at each other

"I've wanted to do that for so long," George says

"Me too Georgie" you smile

"Will you go out with me?" He asked

"Of course Georgie" he pulls you in for a quick kiss as you Dance all night it was perfect
