You started your 6th year at Hogwarts you were in y/h and you were best friends with Harry Potter you guys met the first year after you accidentally bumped into him on the train.

You sat down at the Gryffindor table with the golden trio as you called them sitting next to Ron as Harry and Hermione sat by each other you guys were talking about how you guys were going to do on Christmas break. You felt your heart sink as you realized you'll be spending it alone due to your parents becoming death eaters and disowning you when you refused.

"Earth to y/n" you saw Ron waving his hand in front of your face. 

"Yes Ronald," you say with a smirk this is what you called him to mess with him

"Really with the Ronald thing again" he rolled his eyes "what are you doing for the holidays?"

"I don't have anywhere to go," you said sadly

"Why not?" Harry asked

"Um uh.. my parents left on holiday to Asia" you lied

"Well why don't you spend the break with us at the burrow" Hermione suggested

You look to Ron "would your mum be ok with that?"

"I don't see why not Harry and Hermione are already staying plus my mum loves you," he said

You smiled at him and noticed his ears turned red and this made you blush.

You have had a crush on Ron since year 4 at the yule ball when you and he danced for hours and you studied how handsome he was now every time you look at him you get butterflies.

Classes had started and you were walking with Ron, Harry, and Hermione to potions luckily you were paired with Gryffindor today.

Professor slughorns voice spoke, "can anyone tell me what this potion is?" As he pointed to a cauldron with a bright pink liquid in it.

Hermione raised her hand you chuckled at how fast she did it "it's Amortentia sir the most powerful love potion it's said to smell differently to a person depending on what attracts them"

"Very good Miss granger 10 points Gryffindor," he said
 
You smiled at Hermione mouthing "good job" to her and she smiled back

"Ah, miss y/l/n" you gulped "please tell me what you smell" you leaned forward "I smell freshly mowed grass, fresh parchment, and spearmint-" you paused  "toothpaste" you stepped back blushing as Harry looked at you with a knowing grin. You elbowed Harry and blushed bright red.

"So y/n who did you smell," asked Fred

"Yea y/n tell us" chimed in his brother George

"Don't you guys have a prank to pull or something" you glared at the red-headed boys.

"Ouch," Fred said pretending to stab himself in the heart.

"We are just curious love," George said you playfully punched him in the arm

"Well stop being curious Weasley," you said soon Ron and Harry, and Hermione caught up to you three

"I think I know who she smelled," Harry said with a smirk on his face

"Potter I swear I will hex you" you glared

He thought for a second "it was Ron!" He shouted as he ran.

"Potter I'm gonna kill you" you were about to chase him when you heard

"Bloody hell y/n you like me?!" You turned to see Ron standing still blushing

"I-i yea Weasley I like you" you admitted  you  looked down but felt a hand lift your chin you look up to see Ron looking at you

"Since when?" He asked looking into your E/c eyes

"Since the yule ball," you sighed soon you felt his strong arms pull you into a hug "I feel the same way y/n," he says with relief in his voice you pull out of the hug and you pull him into a kiss soft and loving as he's kissing back smiling into it. 

"Y/n" spoke breaking the kiss

"Yes, Ron?"

"Will you do me the honors of being my girlfriend?" He asked blushing

"Of course Ronald" you smiled

"That again," he said you both laughed as he pulled you in for another kiss
