"We can't decide that for you," the blond boy replied hesitation in his tone.
I turned my head to look at the ceiling once again.
I pondered what a good name would be of course I could chose something basic such as Amy, but I was more creative then that.
I knew that I wanted something unique but with meaning.
I remembered the rinsing of names people would call me, though none were the same.
One stuck out, a woman calling me Faughn I could only recall that it ment falcon in a language I didn't know.
After a couple more seconds of thinking I spoke up.
"Nairna," I glanced at both the boys as another walked in.
The door to the hut was far to the right, I hadn't seen it at first, until a tall lean boy walked in, he had dark wavy hair that was striking for how short it was.
"Is the greenie awake?"
'Greenie?' That's a strange thing to call someone but I suppose it made sense.
The boy to my right stood up to face the brunet.
"Y'a, she said she doesn't have a name though," the boy answered.
"I see, so what are we calling her?" The boy placed his hands on his hips while tilting his head to look at me.
I scowled at him, as I propped myself up into a sitting position.
"Thanks for being so kind to not even ask the person who your referring to," I said sternly, obviously showing my sarcasm as I scoffed.
"You can call me Nairna."
"I'm Minho, the rude shank is Tomas," the boy who was on my left looked back at me. Tomas glared at him. I assumed being called a shank isn't a complement.
"I'm Newt," the pretty boy to my left introduced himself as well.
When I was able to think clearly, seeing him and hearing his voice tugged on my heart strings. I couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that I knew this boy.
I tried to acknowledge him with a smile I'm his direction but my head fell as a crimson blush spreed across my cheeks. I nodded instead.
"You'll meet Alby and the rest of the gladers latter, Newt and Tomas are the leaders while Alby is... recovering," Minho tried his best to look me in the eyes. I could tell my presence as a girl was unusual just from the way the atmosphere felt around me.
"Newt will show you to where you'll stay, and take these," Tomas handed me a pair of crutches. I looked at them confused until I remembered the events that I assumed took place yesterday. To be honest I had no Idea how long I was passed out for.

Newt helped me out the door guiding my unsteady walking with his right hand resting on my shoulder.
"Minho found you in the maze this morning, he thought you were dead till he heard your screams, he carried you back here," Newt dropped his hand from my shoulder after I felt it tensed up when we stepped out to what they called the glade. Dozens eyes on me.
"I'll thank him latter," I acknowledged.
"The place you we just came from is the med hut, we have two med jacks, they look after sick and injured gladers," he turned his neck around and pointed to the small shack we had came from.
I nodded in response again. This was awkward, two strangers, a boy and a girl walking through a field, it felt sketchy, it would've felt romantic if we knew each other I suppose.
He kept on talking about all the dictent jobs and huts, the keepers, the slicers, the builders, and all the rest. I should've listened better then but with all the avents that felt they took place just moments ago, all his words were going threw one ear and out the other.
"Hey! Nairna you listening?" I didn't even realized we had stopped when he started waving a hand in front of my face. I lifted my hand to move his out of my face.
"Yes I'm listening, though I may need a reminder where we are," I let go of his hand and looked around at my surroundings. We were in the woods. Not that far into them, you could see the homestead to our left a little ways away. The hut was small, enough for a bed and maybe a desk and dresser if you tried. I could tell just from looking at the outside of it.
"This is your hut, we couldn't decide where you'd be sleeping since most of the boys started 'claiming' you when you came out of the maze, so you get your own hut!" I didn't bother looking at him, my eyes stayed on the hut. It looked quickly put together but it would hold up well. I walked forward a bit before putting most of my weight on my left crutch to open the door.
As I suspected there was a small cot on the right hand side, the rest was open with a small wooden crate in the back left corner.
"Clothes and uhm, female products are in the box," Newt rubbed the back of his neck not knowing a better way to explain.
"Got it," I nodded before walking in and sitting down on the foot of the bed. I sighed before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath in.
"I'll be back to help you get to dinner," Newt turned around and shut the door behind him as he left.
Relief washed over me as I dropped my crutches and slammed my back against the bed. Not the best idea seeing as the make-shift mattress was as hard as the wood underneath.
I settled a bit trying to ignore the pain surging threw my back and legs.
I curled up, grabbing the pillow above my head bring it down, cuddling with it between my arms.
God I needed the sleep. I thought before closing my eyes and drifting off.
