3rd person POV

"AMETHYST STOP JOKEING AROUND!"

"Peridot, stop screaming and chill out!"

"Well I can't just "chill out"! Valentines day is literally a day away and I got nothing for Lapis!"

"Just cool it, what are the things she likes?"

"Water, CPH, swimming, sleeping, the color blue, reading, and music."

"Well what if you write her a song?"

"HAH! Yeah hell no, I'm not so good with poetry."

"Ok well then take her on a date or something."

"You know you might actually be right for once!"

"Wow, thanks Peri-"

"You're welcome!"

Lapis's POV

Shit shit shit shit SHIT! I totally forgot about tomorrow being Valentines day and I got nothing for Peridot! What kind of a girlfriend am I! A pretty shitty one. I'd be searching online for something I could pick up tonight and found some official Camp Pineing Hearts merchandise. It was a bit pricey but hay, it's for Peridot.

About a few hours later I go to the place where they are selling the merch but then when I got there I found this little alien plush. Sure Peridot has a huge one but who knows, she may like this one too. I'd pay for all of it and leave with my car stuffed. Out of nowhere I get a text from Peridot.

Peri💚👽: hay Lapis, what do you think about maybe stopping by the beach house tomorrow?

Lazuli💙💧: lol, well I was planning on doing that anyways since it's going to be Valentines day.

Peri💚👽: oh wow, lol cloddy me.

Lazuli💙💧: so what time?

Peri💚👽: maybe around 6:30 P.M?

Lazuli💙💧: ok, sounds good. 👍

Peri💚👽: great! I love you, see ya tomorrow!

I would smile at my phone. Stars I love her so much.

The next day

I would drive to the beach house and I was wearing something a bit nicer than what I usually wear. When I would get there, I'd see Peridot on the balcony. The sun was hitting her skin so perfectly that it looked as if she was an angel. I'd get out of the car smiling. Peridot would hear the door shut and her eyes looked at me in excitement.

"Lapis!"

She would run at me and jump into my arms, hugging me tightly. I'd laugh and hug back.

"Hello to you too Peri."

I would kiss her cheek and she would giggle.

"Oh, I got something for you in the back of the car, go and take a look."

Peridot would look at me in curiosity  and goes to the back of the car. I would open the hatch for her and her eyes looked like they had stars in them. Peridot would gasp and look at me quickly.

"HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET THESE!?"

"Tbh some guy was selling them and I knew how much you love camp pineing hearts."

"And my big alien now has a little sister!!"

Peridot would pick up the small alien plush and hold it like a new puppy. I'd smile at how cute she is. Peridot would hug me again and I would melt into the hug quickly.

"Oh! I almost forgot about my surprise!"

Peridot would drag me by the hand and pull me along.

"Close your eyes until I say so."

I'd snicker and close my eyes.

"Where are you taking me anyways?"

"You just have to wait till we get there."

About three minutes go by and we finally stop.

"Ok, now open your eyes."

I open my eyes and see a small shack by the beach with a blanket draped across the sand, a bokay of flowers, a picnic basket, some chocolates, and a candle. I'd put my hands over my mouth, shocked that Peridot had set this all up for me and I just got her some merchandise.

"Oh Peridot, it's beautiful! You officially get the best girlfriend in the world award."

I'd kiss her forehead and she would chuckle. We would sit down and eat the sandwiches that Peridot made that were sitting in the picnic basket. We would talk to each other and share the chocolates that were absolutely amazing. After all that, we sat there, watching the sunset. Peridot would lay her head on my shoulder.

"I love you Lapis."

"I love you too Peridot."

I would look at her and she would look at me. Peridot gave me a sweet smile. I would then cup her cheeks with my hands and kiss her softly.

"Happy Valentines day."
