Hands are numb,
Breath is cold.
Tears are held,
The pain is old.
Eyes unseeing,
Emotions dead.
I am lost,
Alone in my head.
Numb the pain,
For it to return.
Get rid of emotions,
To feel them burn.
My eyes are open,
But they do not see,
The pain I can't bear,
in front of me.
Betrayal seems,
My only friend.
Unless Numbness,
comes back again.
Their words are empty,
But they are cruel.
So I make life a dream,
A foggy world.
Better to be forgotten,
Better to be lost,
Than to face this pain,
And pay this cost.
