**1 week Later**
I had come to terms with the fact Jake was in the wind. I managed to hack into my personal phone to retrieve Jake's actual number, he had awnsered once but didn't say anything as I begged him to come get me too. After they first call on my first night awake he never picked up again, but I sent him a text most every night just senseless messages.
Kig: I miss you. I want to understand and explain my end to you. Please?
Kig: PT Was rough today, Dan almost swept the floor with me. Xoxo
Kig: I kicked ass today! Please I know you're reading my texts.
Kig: Dan and I watched the movie Hush tonight, I wish you were here cause I'd have incentive to actually get my legs back.
Kig: I'm sure at this point you either can't respond or you hate me. My feeling haven't changed Jake.
Kig: Ha! In PT I made a huge mistake and not only tripped myself but the therapist.
Kig: Bet yesterday made you laugh. It was hilarious. They postponed PT today. Hannah and Lilly are worried.
Kig: I spoke to a Friend. You aren't wanted anywhere anymore. PT went okay, pretty sure they'll turn me loose soon.
Kig: Cooper called today. You ditched him? He said he told you everything. I don't understand why you won't communicate.
Kig: I beat Dan to Walk!
Kig: Jake?
Kig: Please, at some point just send me a sign your okay.
Kig: Alright I get it, I found Hannah and now I don't matter. Message received loud and clear.
That was the last time I had texted Jake from the hospital. I was beyond upset with him and myself, I could understand him running off on Cooper but why hadn't he found a way to get me a message.
I was lost in thought as I climbed into the Green Trailblazer and waited for Dan to get in the back as Jessy waited to drive.
"Kig? Did you hear what I asked?" Jessy said
"Mmmm No sorry lost in thought." I muttered
"Where too?" Jessy asked
I looked in the mirror at Dan who said "It's up to you."
"Did anyone clear my stuff out of the hotel?" I asked
"Oh No Miss Walter said to leave it." Jessy smiled starting the truck
"Can we go there and get my stuff?" I asked
Jessy didn't awnser but drove us to the Hotel. Dan waited in the truck as we packed my things. I noticed one thing was missing: My Laptop, so before I checked out I politely asked Alfie "Have you seem my laptop?"
"The hoodie man came and got it." Alfie whispered with a finger to his lips.
When I got back to the truck I wasn't sure where to go until Dan asked something that shocked Jessy "Kig? Do you want to stay at the Hut with me?"
