Yandere
A yandere is a term used to describe a character archetype deeply in love with someone to the point where their affection turns obsessive, possessive, and dangerously unstable. Initially kind and doting, their love becomes overprotective, volatile, and destructive, often leading to violent or brutal acts. The yandere trope captures the extreme consequences of love gone awry, blending elements of insanity, obsession, and desperation into a single character.Simply put, a yandere is "lovesick" — someone driven to madness by the intensity of their emotions. Their actions embody tropes like "Love Makes You Crazy," "Love Makes You Evil," and "Stalker with a Crush," dialed up to their most extreme manifestations.

Narrative Extension
"I wake up to a pair of dazzling golden eyes, piercing and unblinking. My stomach churns with unease. This wasn't a nightmare, after all. This is real.
"Hello, sleepyhead~! Miss me~?" Amity's voice is saccharine, her tone dripping with playful menace as she leans back, giving me space to take her in. She's dressed immaculately in a black turtleneck with a heart-shaped cutout exposing just enough to be suggestive, paired with a short skirt and thigh-high socks. The aesthetic is so deliberate, so calculated, it almost distracts me from the fact that she's my captor. Almost.
"Like what you see?" she teases, her smirk widening as she catches the blush creeping up my cheeks.
I swallow hard and force my voice steady. "Whose blood was that... earlier?"
Her expression freezes, and the sudden silence stretches into something suffocating. Finally, she answers, her voice low and unbothered. "Doesn't matter anymore. I dealt with it."
Dealt with it? I don't even want to know what that means.
"Are you... going to hurt me?"
Amity tilts her head, her golden eyes narrowing in mock thought. "Not unless I have to. Like if you tried to leave me..." Her voice hardens, the sweetness stripped away. "Then, yes, I'd have to hurt you."
I shudder, my voice breaking. "When do I get to leave?"
A sharp laugh bursts from her lips before she leans closer, her face inches from mine. "When I know you won't leave me. When I'm sure you're mine. Completely. Or until..." She trails off, her smile curving into something darker. "Well, let's just say you wouldn't want to test my patience."
Her words send a chill down my spine. "Why? Why go through all this? If you liked me so much, why not just... ask me out like a normal person?"
Amity's face contorts with bitterness. "Because not everyone is like you, Luz. Some of us don't know how to be normal."
There's a flicker of vulnerability in her voice, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. But then her smile sharpens again, and I'm reminded of the danger beneath her charming façade.
"You're not leaving, Luz. Not until you're mine."
The door creaks open upstairs, followed by the sound of footsteps. Two voices echo through the house, teasing and sing-songy.
"Hey, Mittens~! How's your little guest doing?"
Amity's expression sours as she strides into the hallway to face her siblings, Edric and Emira, who stand smirking at the top of the stairs.
"Fine," she snaps, folding her arms.
Emira tilts her head. "You know, kidnapping isn't the best way to win someone over. Just saying."
"Leave me alone," Amity growls, brushing past them.
"Can we say hi, at least?" Edric asks, feigning innocence.
Amity hesitates, her eyes narrowing. "Fine. But don't touch her."
The twins grin mischievously as Amity turns away, disappearing down the corridor. The lock clicks behind her, leaving Luz alone once more in the suffocating silence of the basement.
