Your POV
I woke up the next morning with a big yawn and let out a relaxed sigh. I got out of bed and put on my fluffy slippers.
'It's time.' I thought.
I grabbed something to wear more casually for today since it was going to be a long road trip. Or so I'm told. Todoroki never specified where we were going. It makes sense that even spilling the slightest information about their location could comprise everything, but wouldn't loading our cargo slow them down and make it noticeable his sudden move? I'm pretty sure that the lady down from the lobby hates me since she's the only one who greets Todoroki nicely whenever he leaves or comes back to the apartment. When she sees me, there is no acknowledgment of my existence.
I guess it doesn't matter since I normally don't respond to a lot of folks. But I always feel her eyes piercing the back of my head when I look away. I'm not sure if it's just me, but if she hates humans that much, her silence says it all.
'I wonder what we're having for breakfast today? Hopefully, Uraraka slept okay.' I thought, 'I know that it must've been hard for her to suddenly trust someone and stick with them for protection.'
Spending time with Todoroki throughout my stay has been nice. I'm forever grateful that he took me in even if I appeared as a stray. Feeding me, aiding me, and making sure he kept his distance if I was ever uncomfortable, he would do it. No one forced him, but I did suspect that the favor I'm about to return him might be using me for bait of some kind. I don't know what I'll be used for, but I'm confident that it might be something to do with accessing some resources while I'm held as a distraction. It sounds dangerous enough as it is. But if I was left out there in the snow or if I had kept resisting his help, I would've ended my own life a few days ago.
I stepped out of my bedroom after brushing my teeth and met with Uraraka as soon as she stepped out of hers. Surprisingly enough, Todoroki had a second spare room that he never used, and hand her sleep in there with an air mattress, blanket, heating fan, and a few pillows.
She looked at me and said, "Oh. G-Good morning."
"Hey." I stretched my arms out and said, "Good morning... Are you ready for today?"
She softly nods her head, "I am."
We both walked towards the staircase and went downstairs to meet with the scent of eggs, bacon, and some potatoes.
'Todoroki is making another big meal for us.' I thought with a smile, 'Always worrying about our appetite.'
"It smells amazing," Uraraka exclaims happily. She turned her head and said, "Does he always cook for you? I've never seen a vampire consuming food that we eat after last night's dinner."
"Well.. he's part human." I responded to her question, "It's pretty rare, but he's been cooking his entire life to make other humans comfortable around him. If you were here the night before, you should've seen the lobster he had prepared. I've never eaten anything that came out of a five-star restaurant. It was so good."
(If you're allergic to seafood, you may select another dish)
"That's so cool!" She was beginning to get more comfortable. That meant progress, "I wish I could cook all those kinds of dishes for myself."
'It's better to keep her at ease for now.' I thought.
"Same here, my friend." I chuckled, "Same here." After we made it downstairs, walking through the living room, "Morning, Shoto! Did you sleep, okay?"
"Y/n, you know that I don't sleep," Shoto spoke as I laughed, "Naps don't count as a full sleep as you humans do."
"Humans also take naps as well, Shoto. Even cats." You said as you find your seat at the table, "And naps are just another word for a short sleep."
