The Demon of The Wave

After a couple more hours of walking, we arrived at an ocean. (It was an ocean they fought Zabuza in front of right?) I heard a small noise in one of the bushes, and threw a kunai into the bush. We heard a squeak, and a white bunny ran out of the bush. Suddenly, the sound of something moving through the air quickly filled my ears, and just as suddenly I heard Kakashi-sensei yell, "GET DOWN." I grabbed Tazuna, and Sasuke grabbed Sakura as we all dropped to the ground. Something large moved over my head and stuck into a tree to my left. It was a large butcher knife with a man crouching on it. The man was obviously Zabuza Momochi, the Demon of The Mist."Zabuza, S rank nuke nin, master of water style and the silent killing technique" Kakashi said as we all stood up, "I won't be able to win if I hold back against you." And he reached for his headband. "I'm honored you would reveal your trump card before we even start fighting, Kakashi of the Sharingan," Zabuza replied with a smug smirk on his face, and Kakashi revealed his sharingan.

Sasuke was visibly shocked to learn that Kakashi had a sharingan, and Sakura was just curious, as if she didn't know the importance of the sharingan or why it was so surprising that Kakashi had one. I had known Kakashi had one as it was in his bingo book entry. Kakashi turned to us and said, "protect the client and no matter what, do not try to fight Zabuza." As he pulled his tanto from his back and charged the Demon. I got in front of Tazuna while Sakura stood on his left and Sasuke on his right.

Kakashi and Zabuza clashed fiercely with Kakashi having his back turned towards the water. Kakashi knew, if Zabuza reaches the water it's over.  Zabuza was more skilled in close combat, but Kakashi was quicker with just a tanto than Zabuza was with Kubikiribocho. Despite his speed advantage, Kakashi was being pushed back by Zabuza and just as they were getting to the water two Narutos showed up right beside Zabuza and released point-blank fire and wind bullets that burned Zabuza pretty badly until he pulled enough water from the ocean to put it out. This brief distraction causes Kakashi to land many solid hits on Zabuza with his tanto, almost killing him. Just as Kakashi was about to land the final blow, two needles came from nowhere and Zabuza became completely limp. "I apologize for the intrusion, but I have been tracking this man for months, and he has evaded me until today. I thank you for tacking him down, but I will take it from here." They said as they disappeared. "Who was that, Kakashi-sensei." Said Sakura as soon as they were gone. "That was a hunter nin from Kiri, they hunt kiris wanted criminals, then dispose of the bodies except for the head and turn them in for bountys." Kakashi replied. "Well let's get going  we have part of an ocean to cross, and a village to find." I say as I start walking towards the small fishing boat on the shore. The team and tazuna quickly follow me and we set off for the wave village.

When he does some training in the weeks after they get to the wave. Also I think I will give the team 3 weeks to train instead of the 2 weeks I think they get in canon, because of the extra wounds Zabuza got in that fight.
