Life is unpredictable. It can throw anything at you at any time. Khushi, being a happy-go-lucky girl, had taken everything that came her way. Be it a job, be it a contracted marriage, or be it her husband's hate.

She had accepted everything, without any choice.

But..not this! Not today.

Not the words that were just thrown at her. Never! Hazels glistened in pain, her heart crying with withering hurt, she could only cry falling on the white marble, lost in the world of sufferings, waves of water in the pool reflecting her face filled with tears.

"You're the biggest mistake of my life, Khushi Kumari Gupta!"

His words rang in her ears. She closed her ears not wanting to listen to them, her lips quivering with hurt.

Khushi, like her name, wanted to be happy in her little world with her little dreams, a supportive family, a loving husband, and a few kids. She dreamt of a prince sweeping her feet off onto his horse. Those dreams remained a dream when she was blackmailed to marry him.

A contract.

A marriage with fake hate with true love hiding behind it and pure love with intense hurt buried somewhere.

They hated each other and yet loved each other, stashing the love somewhere in the corner of their hearts. His kidnap and her almost death had proven that their hate was just a mask. To lock up their hearts, their pain, and their love.

Looks like she wasn't really right!

It was proved with his words today. He thought she was the biggest mistake in his life. After whatever she did, after what happened between them, after almost confession from him — Kh-Khushi, I-I lo-love you!

Which was the most beautiful confession ever she had got. His words — managed to bring tears to her eyes, knowing it could be his last words, knowing he was in the danger, her heart galloping for his safety and his whereabouts. The risks and acts she had to take and do to save him — her love.

Their Teri Meri dance, their conversation, the emotions they felt in each other's absence, everything had screamed nothing but their pure love. The lives they have felt in each other's absence.

It was pure. It was true. It was precious. It was universal. It was their soul. It was their heart. It was their life.

Or it was just hers? She had no other option than to doubt.

"You're the biggest mistake of my life, Khushi Kumari Gupta!"

He managed to shatter her dreams. Everything turned out wrong, she was declared as his biggest mistake. His words neither left her heart nor her mind.

They hurt her so much!

It's true that she somewhere considered herself at fault. Isn't that why she had gone to Anjali? To suggest she should not cry over her husband and eat for her baby, at least?

Well, that got her a nice reward. She was blamed for her about-to-happen-abortion. She was called by her husband his biggest mistake. She shouldn't think about her. She shouldn't have been selfless enough to go to Anjali and become a foolish jinx in front of others and a mistake in her husband's life. She was wrong to have thought of someone's happiness who was lost in her own illusion and the perfect dream world, getting support from everyone else in the family.

She was wrong. She was also wrong before. For hiding the truth. She should not have hidden the truth! That might have led to different circumstances. Something good or worse! She didn't know and yet hoped for the circumstances to be different.
