Derek became close with his neighbors when he moved into his new home they were werewolves like him they had a daughter the same age as his son but one night they brought over the young girl who was only four at the time and asked him to watch her he agreed to and let Eli and Myra play
The next morning he kept trying to call them but then he looked over to the tv that had the news on a couple killed in a hit and run the couple was Myras parents
A knock at the door made him turn his head he opened the door to see the sheriff "Stilinski"Derek said and the man looked down at the small girl who was holding onto Dereks leg "You here for her?"Derek asks
"Unfortunately im guessing you heard?"Stilinski asks and Derek nods "I uh I think im gonna take care of her it has been kind of empty around the house"The sheriff tells him and Derek smiles "If you need any help let me know"Derek tells him
The sheriff also knew Myras parents her mother was one of his deputies and he knew that she would have wanted him or Derek to take care of the girl
Myra grew up in the Stilinski house even changed her last name the one thing he couldnt handle was her werewolf side had already came out unlike her best friend Eli
Myra was doing her homework in the sheriffs office she never called him by his name always just Sheriff but he phone began to ring and she looked at it and smiled 'Elliot' thats what she called Eli
"Elliot" she answered "I told you to stop calling me that"He argued into the phone "Whats up?"She asked wanting to change the subject "Jeep?"He asked and she smirked "Meet you there"She said and hung up the phone
Myra and Eli did this often the would steal the blue jeep that Eli thought his father hated but Myra seen it as the Jeep being a reminder to someone Derek once loved
"Myra where you headed?"Mason asked the girl who walked out of the office "To meet Elliot he needs help with some homework can you tell Sheriff where I went?"She asked and he nodded "Stay out of trouble My"He tells her and she gives him a nod before turning away a small smirk growing on her face as she leaves the station
