• join awards/contests Well I think this also helps.. either as a judge or participant, it's just great to be part of something.
My first 100 followers came from judging awards (not literally tho) but like I signed up in lots of awards. Now I won't advice you to do that cause it'll all come tumbling down on you. 'Bro I'm still in the judging phase.. please give me a break🥺'

• stop doing read for read, follow for follow and vote for vote. ~Read for read I know that when most of us came on here we were doing that shitty read for read.
First off, it's against Wattpad guidelines, also, you can't keep up. I don't know if you wanna keep doing that forever. So just stop. Either they are genuinely reading it or not reading it at all. I know y'all love it when your read count goes up (I love it too) but like it's not worth it, stop stressing yourself.

Even though I don't read much on this app, whenever I find the time to do so, I always forget to vote. Tbh, the only time I remember to vote is if the book bores me 'then I'm like let me just drop this for you'. If I love your book, I'll be to into it to remember that little star🙂

Follow people because... . You love their pfp . You love their bio . You find their story intriguing . You came across their nice comment . They're interested in your story . They speak English 😭 . Their personality matches yours . You've got similar genre
If they choose to follow you back or not, it's their choice. And if you choose to unfollow them when they didn't reciprocate then it's your choice.🙂 Posting stupid announcements about people unfollowing you. did you follow them back?
