You all see how the characters act and feel by some situations that happen in the story. Yet, nobody knows some secrets and back story of these characters that made them act this way. That is why I am going to tell you...
Joanna Davidson.
Joanna was born in a wealth family. Since birth, she got everything she wanted. She always wore dresses and tiaras, trying to be the perfect little princess. At that time, life was going great.
Joanna's Father, Romeo, Was Joanna's Hero. She looked up to him and loved him with all of her heart. They were like best friends. Nothing could rip them apart.
At the age of 5, she was told her daddy went to the military to serve the state. But, Joanna couldn't comprehend what that meant. The only thing she thought is 'how come he never said goodbye?'
Each day she would go to the door, waiting for her daddy to come from this "military" place. She would wait for hours. Sometimes she would come downstairs at midnight and wait for her father.
At school, she would talk to her friends about this Military place to figure out why her father went there. Most of them didn't know. Her best friend said her father went there too. She said "I was told, most daddy's and mommy's sometimes come back. That most of them go to this wonder place called Heaven."
When Joanna heard the words Sometimes come back, she stopped listening to the rest. She didn't feel good. She had a horrible feeling in her stomach, causing her to go home early.
Joanna got worried that her father wouldn't come. She would try to write to him like her mommy told her to, even though she couldn't write that good.
Joanna would sometimes wore her fathers shirts to feel close to him and try to act like her father.

One day, a car pulled up at their drive way. Joanna saw that it was a military car. She jumped up and down filled with joy and excitement of seeing her father once again.
But those feelings were crashed when she didn't see her father come out of the car. Yet she didn't lose hope. She ran to the door and opened it when the man in a formal suit was about to knock on it.
The man saw the little girl with a big grin jumping around, chanting, "Daddy's back!! Daddy's back!!! Daddy's back!!! Mommy daddy's back!!!"
Then the man saw a woman rush to the door, eager to see her husband and feel his tight arms around her once more. He could see her heart drop when she saw him.
"Mrs. Davidson." He took off his hat and greeted her, "May I come in?"
The mother nodded, moving out of his way to let him pass.
As he entered, Joanna noticed that her father didn't come in. "Where's daddy? Is he in the car?" She looked at the vehicle waiting for her father to come out, run up to her, and hug her tightly, but he didn't come out.
The man cleared his throat and looked at the mother. She got Joanna and sat her child on her lap.
" I am new to coming to a families house." The man informed her.
"It is fine. What bring you here mister....?"
"The name is Cory ma'am. And I came here... Because I have news about your husband."
"....Is he alright?"
".......No ma'am. Your husband was out on the field when the opposing side ambushed his group. He was.. Killed by multiple shots on the legs, arms, lungs, stomach, and head. He was found with a note stabbed in his chest..."
