What if I'll never see him again. It's like we broke up.

You were never dating.

I guess I was just waiting for a right time to tell him I'll be his girlfriend. But after his birthday when he called himself boyfriend, I didn't want it to be like that. So I told him we're not that yet. I should've just said yes.

As I let these thoughts cloud my mind a tear begins to fall from my eyes slipping down towards my cheek. I lift my hand wiping the tear fast hoping no one saw but he did.

"Baby, why are you crying" Ares says as he kisses my cheek making me face him.

I keep my head down not wanting to make eye contact because this is such a sad moment for me, I thought I wasn't going to get emotional. I didn't think me and Ares would've become something. He was all I cared about, we cared for each other. And now he's going to be stripped from my arms.

"Love look at me" he says as he lifts my chin up kissing my lips

He looks over at Nico

"We're not going through with the exchange." Nico says

"What?" Me and Eve say at the same time.

We look at the guys in confusion. What does he mean we're not going through the exchange? Does my brother and mom know this? What the hell?

"You've become a lot to us, and when we were going to do the exchange we were going to take your mother but we weren't going to give you back." Ares says looking at me

"W-what do you mean not give me back?"

"We we're going to kill your mother for leaving and then kill you for being part down worlder." Nico says looking at me then at Eve

"What the fuck do you mean you were gonna kill her?" Eve looks at Nico raising her voice. "You fucking told me you were just gonna take her mother and put her in the cell." She glares at the guys

"Who told you that?" Ares questions looking at Eve

"Nico" she states

"Seriously Nicholas." Ares raises his voice glaring at Nico

"Dude, you never told me than plan until like the second week on having them, I just never really updated her on that part" he defends himself

"Well that's not true. We were going to kill the both of you. But then the more I got to know you, I didn't want that." Ares says looking back at me

Nico and Eve leave the room leaving me and Ares alone.

"You lied to me?"

"I did, sweetheart" he says truthfully

A tear begins to roll down my cheek again and I sit at the edge of the bed not wanting to look at him. This whole time I thought they were just going to take my mom and leave her in a cell, they were going to kill her, and me. They were going to kill us.

You're telling me Ivan would've let that happen. He would've gone through with the damn exchange? My blood begins to boil and I can no longer look at Ares. I'm fuming.
