Remembering Me (Sequel to: It all started at the Meet and Greet?!)

"Louis.." But before I could finish the trigger went off and Louis fell to the floor. "David!" I screamed. I ran over to Louis and he was bleeding from the side, he needed to get to the hospital.

"Now if any else would like to speak up." David said. No one said anything and a smile spread across his face. "It's nice to see you again Cassie." He said pointing the gun towards her.

"David don't." I said.

"We're having fun Grace, wouldn't you say so."

I shook my head. "This isn't fun David."

"What do you want David, money?" Harry said

"No I don't want your money."

"Then what do you want. Why are you doing this?"

"Harry please." I whispered to him.

"It's what I always wanted. I want Grace." David said looking at me.

"Fine." I stood up. "David if you let them go and let them get Louis to a hospital, then I promise we can be together. I want to be with you David, I love you. I finally realized being in this room with everyone that I've only ever loved you."

"Grace you don't mean that." Harry said.

"I'm sorry Harry, but I do. I've never loved you it was all an act, I love him." I walked towards David and stood next to him.

"Please don't do this Grace, I know you." Harry said tears gathering in his eyes.

"David just let them go, they have nothing to do with this. We can forget everything and start over."

"Go." David said pointing towards the door. The boys all looked at one another and started towards the door helping Louis up.

"Grace please.." His voice cracked.

"No Harry don't, I could never love someone like you." He stared at me for a few seconds then turned towards the boys.

"Put the gun down David, it's all over. It's just me and you now." David looked at me and I kissed him. When I pulled away he put the gun down and kicked it behind him. I grabbed his hand and walked towards the window which was boarded up. I turned around and watched the boys walk out, I blinked away the tears. There was a puddle of blood on the floor from Louis wound.

"I'm sorry about all of this Grace." He pushed me against the wall.

"It's okay David." I said. It felt like the whole room was spinning. There was noise coming from outside the door and David looked at me.

"What's that noise?" I shrugged my shoulders. The door smashed opened and the police came into the room.

"Hands up!" One of the officers yelled. David put his hands up and I stood there frozen. Adam walked into the room.

"I'm sorry David, but what you did was wrong." Adam said walking towards me. "It's okay Grace, it's over." He grabbed my hand and we walked towards the door. I turned around and one of the police officers were handcuffing David.

"Thank you Adam." I said walking out the door. I was standing outside, waiting for Adam to finish talking to one of the officers. A car pulled up, it was Harry. I stood there frozen. He got out of the car and ran towards me.

"Grace" He said engulfing me in a hug.

"How did you know?" I said confused. Adam came to me last night saying he was going to contact the boys and tell them where I was. He called the police and explained everything and we planned out how everything would go down. But they boys and Cassie didn't know about any of it.

"You said it was all an act, but I knew it wasn't. What we have is real Grace, and you and I both know that." I smiled at him, I didn't lose him.

"I thought I lost you forever, I didn't think I would ever see you again."

"You'd never lose me Grace because the first day I met you I knew I had to protect you. I promised myself I would never hurt you, I promised I would never leave you. I know I did those things, but the choices I made helped me discover who I really am. I remember the day I let you go, as if it were yesterday. You said the boys and I were your hero, and I couldn't wear the cape that you needed me to wear because you were the one who was wearing the cape. Your the hero Grace. You showed me that if you really love something don't ever stop fighting. I never knew I was capable of being loved or even loving. You've showed me how beautiful life is, when you just open your eyes and look. And right now I'm looking at the most beautiful girl in the whole world. Thank you for wearing the cape that I needed."

"It's been a long time since I've truly knew who I was and what I wanted in life. The past is the past and all we have is now Harry. And all I want is to be with you because you make this world worth living when I'm with you." He leaned in and kissed me. I wasn't afraid anymore because there was no reason to be afraid. I didn't feel the pain in my heart anymore because for once in my life I felt whole.
