Rant 15 - Percy Weasley

Alright, so. We're discussing Percy today. He was great at first, then slowly became obsessed with impressing his higher-ups and colleagues to the point that he just started abandoning his own family. 

I'm so upset with his character development, but it does add quite a bit to the plot of the story. I secretly adored Percy because he was so hard-working and polite until he became sort of a jerk. 

I also find it upsetting that Percy was unable to trust his family when he first started dating Penelope. He didn't want anyone to find out and he was clearly so nervous and stressed when Ginny eventually found out.

He did become a negative person, some might even say he turned into a villain, but I don't think people are looking at the bigger picture, just what he's done wrong. He really wasn't that bad.
