Tommy walked the hall with the older brother following, the man in the trenchcoat taking in the abandoned place with sorrow filled eyes. Tommy was jumping with excitement, the most he’s felt since his sentance to exile. Its not everyday that you’re once dead brother comes back to life afterall. “You’ve missed a lot, but I’m sure I can fill you in!” Tommy looked being himself towards the man, the others eyes switching to look into his own. They were the same eyes, yet they felt so different to the young teen. They felt like they’ve seen all the mysteries of the world, and stories that should never be told were locked behind them. At least he seemed sane though, nothing like how he was in Pogtopia towards his end. The brunette smiled, his eyes turning softer by the avians words.

“I’m sure you will, Toms.” Wilbur said, though his eyes made their way to the teens back, where two wings should be visible. It was flat though, as if the two apendages never existed in the first place. The brunette leaked even more torn. Tommy chose to ignore this, looking forwards again and letting his once happy smile fall away.

“It’s been lonely without you, you know. A lot has happened since you… died.” Wilbur hummed, still seeming distant and in his own little world. “I… missed you.” Nothing came from that sentence, just silence that seemed to build with intensity and unspoken questions.

“Are you living here?” Tommy nodded, looking back as he mustered up a small smile. “Have you been living here since I died?”

“What? No. Once the revolution was over this place was basically abandoned. It’s been rotting away and I’ve only recently been using it as my home.” The teen chuckled out. “It’s perfect y’know. For a base, enough room and the beginnings for it were basically set up for me. I just had to come back in and fix things up a bit.” He explained, looking around the area they were walking in.

“You… do got a point I suppose. Just thought you’d be living with Techno or something.” Tommy was silent for a while before shrugging.

“After the revolution me and Techno weren’t really on good terms. I’ve only recently began to mend our relationship.” Wilbur showed up at Tommy’s side, brown eyes searching in Tommy’s blue.

“I see… and Phil?” Tommy’s lips grew in a thin line, eyes becoming cold at the mere mention of the man.

“Haven’t really talked to him after he killed you, wasn’t sure I would have tried even if he hadn’t done that. Just the icing on the cake I needed.” Tommy spat out. “Horrible father, and then he kills his own son…” Something in Wilbur’s expression made Tommy’s voice fade off, his steps slowing down just as the adults own were. “What’s wrong?” Wilbur looked uncertain, eyes looking towards the stoe floor.

“I…” Wilbur still looked unsure. “I asked him to kill me, He killed me because I asked him to.” Tommy’s face grew pale, eyes looking over his older brothers face for any indication that he was lying. “He found me, and when I blew up L’manburg I asked him to kill me, handed him my own sword and everything. I-I didn’t want to face everyone after what I did! I was already in such a horrible headspace… I didn’t want to see what you would think of me afterwards. It just didn’t help that… that he showed up, and saw what I had become.” wilbur quickly wiped a tear away from his cheek, forcing his glossy eyes to meet Tommy’s own. “I shouldn’t have done what I did, I shouldn’t have left you alone. And I wish that I could go back and change what I have done, so I could be alive and that I could have been there to protect you- But I wasn’t.” Tommy took a step back.

“Wilbur?” The newly alive man paused, his eyes once again looking down towards the hallway floor.

“I know Tommy, I know what happened.” Tommy’s blood ran cold, hands shaking as he looked at the other in fear.
