Listening to all Stephen told her, Lucy sat upon a height and watched as Jack grabbed some strange fruit. It concerned her that whatever they did in this world transferred to the other world via the cocoon. Though it gave her an idea. Just be safe, okay? She rose from her spot, had a bite of the fruit Jack handed her and waved at Aris to come closer.

After they heard what went on in the WICKED facilities, both Aris and Jack agreed to find a way back and figure out how to deal with WICKED. After all, from what Stephen had told them, nothing good went on back home.

"So what now?" Aris walked over to the fountain they had first encountered and drank some of the water. "Didn't they say there was mist?"

Her eyes on the fountain and all the water around, Lucy smiled. "Yes, lots of it, but why?"

His fingers brushing through the cool water, Jack chuckled. "I know why, look" All around his fingers the water began to boil and soon the entire fountain rose mist into the air. As the three stood there watching, the stream that Jack touched next began to boil too. "Now what?"

A smile on her lips, Lucy pointed to ward the far path that they had come through the dark, recognising it by the roots and all she had stumbled over when the darkness gnawed on her. "We have to make a hole to get out"

"A hole? Here?" Aris concerned looks alternated from Lucy to Jack and back to the only free spot, no buildings or anything. "How?"

"We know a way" Jack grabbed Lucy by the hand and hurried over to the spot. They marked it with gems all around and focused their powers. "Just not too big, we might need the city"

"I know. Aris, stay back!" Lucy held out her hand, the warmth of Jack's body pressed against her. In awe, she watched as the blue lines on her body reappeared and soon the sparks flew from her fingers and into the air, like tiny fireworks. "Ready?" At Jack's nod, Lucy closed her eyes, focused on the power inside her body and gestured for Jack to move.

As soon as je jumped out the way a wave of heat shot from his chest and hit with the sparks, it imploded, then released anther wave of force so great Aris had to hold onto the roots that stood out the ground. Just the moment the ground shook and broke open, Lucy waved her hands through the air and the gems they had laid out burst and formed a roundish shape into the air and ground to seal off the hole.

Pleased with themselves, Lucy and Jack turned to Aris, who sat on the ground, his hand pressed against his other arm. Blood dripped from the root he had held onto and when Lucy approached him, he flinched at her touch. "What happened?" Lucy inspected the arm, took some leaves and a flower and crunched between two rocks to get a fine paste, combined with some water, she brushed it over the gash on Aris arm that in a matter of seconds healed.

"How did you do that?" Aris mumbled as he inspected his arm, good as new, not a scratch or scar left.

Biting her lip, Lucy turned to the world around them. "It told me how. I think it's trying to help us"

"Then let's get the others and we can help them too" Jack pulled Aris off the ground, smiled at Lucy and took the lead through the portal they had built back into the facilities of WICKED.

Following his lead, Lucy stepped towards the portal, but before her foot touched the dark that waited beyond, she turned around to have another look at the world they had created. Something bugged her, yet she could not place that feeling. Her head turned to the portal, a noise behind her made her spin around. All over the place, the gems that had laid on the ground before rose into the air and burst, red, blue, green, some purple as well.

Watching the spectacle, Lucy flinched when the debris of one of the purple gems hit her face. The blood dripping from the small wound, Lucy brushed it off used some of the paste to cover it and jumped through the portal to follow Jack.

She could not wait to tell Thomas and Stephen about what they had found within the walls of those beautiful buildings, the world that waited for them, where they could live save and out of harm's reach.

Screams, bangs, then darkness. Nothing, quiet, then another scream. Lucy

Perplexed, Lucy rose from the ground, the stinging pain still resonating throughout her chest as she pulled the dart from her shoulder and had a look around.

Dressed in hazmat suits, soldiers stormed the room where the cocoons had burst and released Lucy, Jack and Aris back into the right world. The grabbed Aris, who lay unconscious on the floor, shot down Jack who kept on kicking and screaming, his arms reached out for Lucy before he too sank to the ground.

Fighting the terrible feeling, the dizziness causing her to stumble and fall, Lucy reached out for Jack. Her head falling to the side, she spotted Stephen at the entrance of the room, dressed the way Luke had before he vanished. Then the world around turned dark.

Lucy, I am sorry. LUCY
