Walking into the courtroom, Ebony was greeted by her family while Dejounte waited on the other side of the reception area for their child custody/support court hearing. This was something both of them never wanted to do however Dejounte's actions drove Ebony to file. As the court session began Ebony informed the judge that she wanted full custody of their daughter due to Dejounte's busy schedule and his relationship with Jania and would let Dejounte see her whenever he wanted to see her. She also informed the judge that she would stay in Atlanta just for the sake of her daughter and Dejounte's relationship.
"Judge I don't see that fair at all, visitation should at least be 50/50 since she knows my busy schedule within the league. My relationship with my girl shouldn't have nothing to do with me seeing my daughter." Dejounte argued
"Your honor, I don't want my daughter in different environments and around people she doesn't know. I don't feel comfortable with my daughter being around someone who's threatened me multiple times."
"When she's around me, the only people around is me mother. I would never put my daughter in harm's way. Ebony has threatened my girl who's carrying my unborn daughter as well."
"Well after hearing everything and listening to both parties, I have decided that it's best if the visitation is split 50%. The parties should have a representative to exchange the child if they cannot do it without any issues. This order will be in place for 4 months and then we will reconvene if needed,this court hearing is adjourned."
Walking out of the courtroom Ebony was pissed at the outcome of the results. Despite wanting Dejounte to step up, she didn't see the visitation rules being fair. Dejounte was not present for their daughter without being stipulated to visitation rights so why should she split that time with him. As she entered the car with Jamie and Tee, Ebony let out a deep sigh not knowing what to say Jamie simply grabbed her oldest daughter's hand. Walking into her home, Ebony sat on the couch and turned on the TV. The first thing that came on ENews was the discussion of her court hearing with Dejounte and people putting their opinions on the situation. That was cut short as Tee cut off the tv seeing the hurt and pain in his daughters face.
"Eb! We all know the truth and we won't give up until things are fair. You're an amazing mother and everyone that supports you know that. You should've let me and your brother handle him, he's been talking reckless for too long. Especially for someone I let into my home and treated with respect." Tee spoke
"This is why I love you pops. And you and Ja would've made things worse. I just hope my trip to Buffalo helps me forget all of this." Ebony replied
