[Third pov]

"Really?" Riley asked to watch him nod.

"You were right about Dad. I only started hearing the voices after he...changed."

"And now that he's gone, you don't hear them?"

"I guess so," Ranboo let a sincere simper plaster his face.

Riley smiled, feeling happy for her brother.

"Guys," Tommy knocked the door. "Phil asked me to call you both down for breakfast."

"Come on," Riley said to Ranboo.

The two walked downstairs and sat by the dining table.

"Phil," Riley spoke.

"Yes," Phil responded.

"Why is it called toothbrush instead of teethbrush when you use it for all your teeth?" She asked.

"I never thought about that," Wilbur mumbled, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

Techno took a stack of white ceramic plates from the top cabinet, before passing it to Phil. Phil put two pancakes on one plate before taking the maple syrup and glazing it on top.

"I don't know, I-" Phil thought deeply, placing berries on the pancakes. "What if they don't have all their teeth?"

Tommy gave a chortle. "I can just imagine someone brushing their one tooth with a toothbrush."

Ranboo and Techno couldn't hold in their laughter. Phil passed Techno plates of pancakes one by one. He gave the first two to Riley and Ranboo. Ranboo eyed his meal, believing he could eat it without throwing up. They started eating once everyone were all at the table. Ranboo ate one and a half pancakes, before he felt full. Riley gladly finished his food.

"Riley, Ranboo," Phil called. "Do you guys want to take some clothes and belongings from your old house or do you just want some new clothes?"

Ranboo looked at Riley, planning to agree with her response.

"I don't mind buying new stuff for you guys," Phil clarified.

"I want to take some stuff from the old house," Riley replied.

"Okay," Phil said. "We'll go there today and get it settled."

[Ranboo's pov - Thursday, 2pm]

Once we reached my old house, I took a deep breath. A shiver was sent down my spine, some memories resurfacing.

"Dad, stop-"

"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT?"

"BUT YOU ARE MY DAD."

"I DON'T WANT TO BE."

"YOU'RE THE ONE THAT NAMED ME AND WANTED ME."

"THAT'S BECAUSE OF HER. I WANTED YOU WITH HER."

"S-she's gone, Dad."

"That's why you have to go, too."

"NO, PLEASE!"

I gulped, blinking to break my stare at the house. I eyed the tense reflection of myself when I stepped in front of the door. I opened it and walked inside, holding it for Riley and Phil to enter.  Techno, Wilbur and Tommy had followed as well, but they were staying in the car. Phil walked behind Riley and I as we both went up the staircase. I went to Riley's room and made sure nobody was there before going to mine. The mess and signs of struggle I made previously were obvious.

"I WILL NOT HESITATE TO SHOOT."

"Alright, this is fine," I thought to myself, "I'll just get my clothes and everything will be over. I'll never have to come back here."

I pulled opened my drawers, messily putting various clothings into a bag. I had one huge luggage bag in my room already, but Phil placed one down next to me before speaking.

"Did your dad do this to your setup?"

I looked back at it, recalling the moment I saw them for the first time. The wires were ripped out of them violently, as if my dad was so pissed he couldn't kill us so he killed my computer in the most brutal way he could.

"Yeah," I answered. "I don't have proof but he did say he was going to kill us the night before I saw my computer like this."

"Jeez," Phil mumbled. "He's terrible."

"But you're not," I said, continuing to pack. "You're a good dad, and even though I'm not legally your son, I'm glad I'm living with you.

"You and Riley will always be my children, just like the other three are."

I glanced at him to pass a smile before shifting back to what I was doing.

"That's an extra bag, if you or Riley need it. Take all the time you need, I'll be downstairs. Okay?"

"Okay."

I practically threw the pairs of socks into my luggage, crouching down to it. I placed my hand on the top of it, before zipping it from one side to the other. I carried the duffle bag Phil gave to Riley, and pulled the luggage bag to leave at the stairs. I entered her room to see her staring at a picture frame. I hung an arm round her shoulder and scrutinized the picture. It was a framed baby picture of her being carried by me, standing in the middle of Mom and Dad. The only "Happy Family" picture we have ever took.

"The only peaceful picture of us. Now, it's two out of four. Just two siblings who don't have parents."

"I might not have a mom or a dad but I have someone who will always look out for me," she put down the picture frame, turning to look at me.

"Let me guess...is it Anna?"

She rolled her eyes and tucked her lips downward. "She's like the phantom in Minecraft. Annoying and no one asked for them."

I laughed. "Well, who is it?"

"They're everything to me; my sibling, my parent, my best friend. They're in the closet and only I know their deepest, darkest, secrets. It's Ranboo Adam Live."

"Sounds better without my middle name," I said before she hugged me.

"This is really happening," she mumbled, her voice muffled because of my shirt.

"Yeah," I exhaled what felt like a breath I kept in for ages.

"I'm not going to miss this house," Riley uttered.

"I have never agreed on something you said so strongly until now."

"I'm now stuck with you forever, Ran."

"I wouldn't have wanted it any other way, Rye."
