As soon as the ring of my alarm goes off, I'm up, I have to be. There's rarely a day where I can sleep past my alarm, maybe even a full 7 hours. I get around 3 hours of sleep, 4 on a good night.

"Come on, Karlie. Hair and makeup are gonna be here at 6, sharp." My friend and assistant, Journey says as she peeps her head into my room.

It's weird but my body is so used to the little amount of sleep that in the mornings I'm actually energetic.

I quickly make my bed before heading to the bathroom. I turn on the shower before connecting my phone to the speaker. I dance while removing my teeth whitening strips and brushing my teeth and hair.

I rush through my shower, knowing I took too much time dancing. It's not my fault. When the song hits, you have to dance it out. It's an essential to a good day.

Turning off the water, I smile while exiting the shower, knowing I smell like my favorite scent.

Clean.

There's nothing wrong with smelling clean. You have to be clean before you smell good.

I quickly put on a robe and tie my hair into a towel before leaving the bathroom and immediately getting a cup of coffee in my hands.

"Good morning, everyone!" I say after taking a sip.

They all mumble their 'good morning's while setting up their things.

"I still don't understand how you can be so energized in the morning. We literally went to bed at 2 in the morning." Journey basically groans.

"Someone's gotta be awake enough to make sure you don't fall asleep on the job." I say, cheekily as I sit in my chair. "What's on the agenda today?"

"We have a shoot at 8, then we leave straight afterwards to New York for a show but we have a meeting before with the head of your publishing team, then finally, we have a party. Show our faces for a bit then we dip." Journey says, looking away from her phone.

I nod as best as I can as Abby applies mascara to my eyelashes.

"Lean your head back!"

I lean my head back as my hand drags down the center of my chest. Damn, my back hurts. We've been here for about two hours now.

"Perfect, Karlie! You are perfect!" Já Terríe yells from behind the camera.

I nearly laugh.

Perfect?

I'm not perfect, I'm far from it. I still need to lose weight, grow my hair longer, slim my face, find a better diet, and I need better posture.

"Move, Babe!"

I place my chest on the ground, reaching my arm out as I make my back arch while my knees hold my weight. I turn my head towards the camera with my eyes closed.
